Lu 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is
indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing,
to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his
devices. (2 Corinthians 2:10-11 KJV)
As tough as forgiveness may be, it is most essential for our freedom. As we
pray, the example is not deliver us from ourselves..it is deliver us from
evil...satan is the source of all evil...and in our unforgiveness he takes
advantage of our hurts and wounds and desires to sift us like wheat.
Unforgiveness hurts us much more than our offenders. It is not agreeing
what they did was right, its releasing them...asking God to release them
because we understand what we have been released from. If not, it is like
we are drinking poison waiting for them to die...they move on with life and
we are the ones suffering still with pain. Unforgiveness doesnt change what
happened or is happening, it just tears us up inside and destroys us. Right
where the enemy would have us.
We are given all authority to forgive...to ask God not to hold it against
them, they know not what they do...we wrestle not with flesh and
blood period! We wrestle with the demons and darkness that satan commands
above us in principalities that we cannot see.
We are not helpless, rather conquerors...more than... and given all power
over the enemy through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Praying all would be fully persuaded that the truth of God's Word will set
us all FREE! Be forgiven, forgive yourselves, and let us forgive others for
You are positioned by God and Highly favored! Love others as God has loved
you! STAND against satan with all authority in JESUS name...because you can!
