Psalm 27 The Lord is my Confidence

>> Saturday, December 5, 2009

When we struggle, God would have us run to HIM. Run to the scriptures and allow them to minister to our hearts in times of trouble. Is Jesus enough for us? Sometimes it is hard to sit and wait, to trust for God's timing isnt it. I understand all to well, however all I can say is that when we run to God our King, He never fails. If God be for us, who then can be against us? The following verses are a balm of confidence that God has our back in truth, Amen!

The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear, the Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid, my heart shall not fear, One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

In time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me He shall set me up upon a rock mine head be lifted up above mine enemies, I will offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of JOY I will sing praises unto Him.

I seek your face you have been my help. My father and mother forsake me and you take me up.Teach me your ways and lead me in a plain path. Deliver not over unto the will of my enemies for false witnesses are risen up against me.

WAIT ON THE LORD BE OF GOOD COURAGE AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN THINE HEART, WAIT I SAY ON THE LORD.

Thankgiving and Praises!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
There is so much to be thankful for!
Enter his gates with thanksgiving enter his courts with praise be thankful unto him and bless his name! Ps 100:4
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts you are called in one body, be ye thankful Col 3:15
Thanksgiving is one day set aside for gratefulness. That is great! A day we can purpose in our hearts to show gratitude. I bet most of us thou enjoy being thankful alot more than just one day out of the year. Especially since the scriptures tell us to enter in His presence with praise and be thankful unto Him and bless His name! That is an everyday kinda verse, as we come before Him that the conditions of hearts are right before HIM!
As we let the peace of God rule in our hearts we are reminded we are in one body (the body or family of Jesus Christ) and we should be thankful. Our families are extended as far as the east is to the west. There are no boundaries with God and His church. We are just as much related to our sisters and brothers in our local churches as we are to those who are in third world countries.
Today how grateful I am for the men and women who traveled acrossed the sea to come to a new world that gives me the freedom of my speech, freedom of religion, and the freedom to live for Jesus. I am thankful for the men and women to this day that give of themselves to retain that freedom I so desperately love. I am grateful for Patrick Henry who was bold enough to proclaim "Give me Liberty or give me death."
So much to name, I am thankful for one more man that gave his life that I may have a freedom, the freedom from death! His name is Jesus Christ. He gave himself as a sacrifice for us, he laid himself down on the cross, to be willingly nailed and hanged, that you and I would not have to suffer death. Through His death He gave us LIFE and LIFE more abundant if we walk in HIM. If we confess, repent, and believe that Jesus the son of God we will have eternal life.
Rom 3:10 there are none righteous no not one
Rom 3:23 all have sinned and come short of the glory of God
Rom 6:23 the wages of this sin is death
Good News!
Rom 5:8 while we were yet sinners He died for us
John 14:6 Jesus is the way the truth and the life no man cometh to the Father but by HIM
1John 1:9 if we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive
Rom 10:9,13 Confess with our mouth and believe with our hearts that God has raised HIM from the dead you shall be saved, For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with his mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:36 he that believeth on the son hath everlasting life.
Today let us be thankful, we have been given a gift of freedom and everlasting life in Jesus Christ.
I am thankful for Jesus, Holy Spirit and my BIBLE, my soulmate, my four precious children, family, friends, church, provisions, my voice that I can proclaim His praises and the privilege to serve the King of the Universe, my King! Praising and Blessing His Holy Name! May you be blessed this Thanksgiving season.~with much love for the brethren~Debbie

God loves you

>> Tuesday, November 17, 2009

GOOD MORNING!!! the Lord woke me up to such a wonderful verse in scripture. He reminded me that He loves us with an unconditional love, and everlasting love, there is nothing we did to earn it nor anything we can do to loose it! Hag 2:23 is where i turned this morning, put your name in the blank spaces:
In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, will I take thee 0 _________, my servant daughter of ______, saith the Lord, and I will make thee a signet; for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord of hosts.
________ God not only loves you, he has drawn you and forgiven you. There is nothing you can do to seperate yourself from the amazing love of Jesus. Bathe in that all day, the amazing love of Jesus covers you, washes you clean and makes you shine and sparkle for HIM!

Lam 3:22-25 tell us His mercies keep us from being consumed and his compassions are renewed every morning and they fail not, GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS!!! Make the Lord your portion and have hope only in HIM, the Lord is good to the soul that seeks and waits on HIM.
YOU ARE POSITIONED BY GOD AND HIGHLY FAVORED!!! WALK IN TRUTH MY SISTERS.

Is Jesus Enough?

>> Monday, November 9, 2009

How often are we called into ministry with a fresh mind of what Jesus has asked of us, only to find ourselves loosing sight of that very call? I think on the scriptures when Jesus fell asleep on the boat in Mark chapter 4. The guys were on their way in obedience finding themselves without Jesus, they were operating in their own strength. This is a detriment to ministry and one that most experience falling into. Are we loving our callings, our ministries or our gifts or are we loving Jesus? Is Jesus enough?

We can become so busy in "routine" that we become rushed and stressed. I for one do not believe stress is of God, it can be used for God, but in a stressed state we are not surrendered nor in the Spirit. There was nothing rushed or stressed about Jesus. Not even in the storm.

In our busyness, we can easily oversight our quiet times, our prayer times, our purpose and our mission. The enemy is slick to send in a barrage of distractions all looking to be "good" things but not "the" thing God has called us to. We must be on guard at all times that the very thing that Jesus has asked us to do, He will complete it. Jesus said lets go to the other side, they started out and became fearful with the first sign of resistance. Jesus arose and rebuked the sea and calmed the waves. Why are we so fearful? Why do we so easily get caught up in everything but what God has called us to do? Why do we get sidetracked?

A very simple answer; we are not sitting and resting at His feet. We are running in front of Him, around Him, along side of Him but we are not walking side by side embraced by Him. There is such a difference. Why is Jesus not enough for most of us, why? What are we looking for? Where can we find it outside the God of the universe?

Allow Jesus to be enough and watch the Peace come over you just as it had the seas. Love Jesus more than ministry, more than service, more than the supernatural occurrences that come with the Power of God. Just love Jesus more, be still and allow the peace of God to rule your hearts!!!

Michelle's Baby Shower

>> Saturday, November 7, 2009

We were so happy for Michelle today! We celebrated and showered her with love and prayers for the upcoming arrival of her baby _____(?). What made it so different was the circle of friends and family holding hands and prayin God's blessings over her and her family. How beautiful when God's daughters come together to lift each other up. I was blessed, the room was filled with the Holy Spirit and the beauty of God in each woman. We are very thankful to have Jesus and what a different He makes in our lives. Please keep Michelle in your prayers as she may have to go C-section Dec. 18th (along with our dear friend Kellie the same day, in the same hospital) how great is that!!!!

Move Forward...

>> Sunday, October 18, 2009

Jer 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people; and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. 24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.

Do we ever feel like all we do is take a few baby steps forward and 20 giant steps backwards? A key to walking with God, hear his voice and obey his voice. To obey it one must first hear it and when we hear and respond we walk supernaturally in the ways. Hearing and Listening lead obedience. Doing much for the Lord because we think is right is not obedience nor instructions followed out. The only obedience counted is followed by hearing His voice for our direction.

Unfortunately many of us do not hear nor listen with their ears. To busy, lots of distractions, no time to sit and wait on a word from the Lord. We walk in our own wisdom and our own self mode which is evil to the Lord and we move backwards, farther from the destiny He has prepared for us.

The Dare! Carve out some time, sit and just listen, hear His voice, follow His lead, go ahead obey and watch yourself move forward into the calling He has for you. He says if we do this, it will be well with us, win win game plan, its worth a try is it not? I dare you to try the Lord out, who knows, you just may find yourself.... Moving Forward!!! Let us not only desire to move forward but make a conscience decision to intentionally do what is right. After all He has our best interest in mind.

Our Mission and Ministry

Whole Heart Ministries, Inc.

The Women of Whole Heart Ministries are committed to serving women. We have a team of 5 ladies in which we speak at conferences, workshops, or special ladies events. We also have two God gifted women on our team to lead Worship and do special events with the praises of their voices. It is our passion to share the truths that will set women free. We also have many that volunteer their time to serve God through WHM. They contribute their time and resources to assist us in the completion of the magazine and preparations for outreach!

Our subsidiaries for ministry outreach are:

In Her Heart… a Christian woman’s magazine
is an inspired forum that has been created to reach the tender place of a woman’s heart.
Each of us holds a collection of treasures; these treasures are life lessons. They are unique,
yet when shared are common threads that weave the women of God together.

In Her Heart… Inspirational Gatherings
Are you a woman today wondering how to stay hopeful in an uncertain world? Looking to grow personally? Tired of running on empty? Needing to be inspired? If you are looking for change, look no further. Our women at WHM desire to share their story of hope, true love, joy, and peace. Revealing what exactly is In Her Heart… Our mission is to inspire you to focus on what really matters! We bring In Her Heart… magazine to life and deliver the Truth that will set you free.

Whole Heart Evening: “Sharing Hearts”
A Whole Heart evening out to support and encourage our sisters who are called to share their Testimonies or “God Stories.”
Coming before a group of women to share is more than just to tell a story. A woman who is obedient to the call of God will examine her heart and allow God to prove her. She will walk in integrity, desiring to show that God is not only real in her life but He works when we fully believe and trust in Him. She will not get caught up with vain persons and those who cause division. When she allows her voice to be an instrument of the Lord she understands she is representing Jesus Christ and honors His reputation. She is being led to minister to others and takes that responsibility very seriously.

scriptural verses we are committed to:

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD: That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD. (Psalms 26:1-12 KJV)

His Creation

>> Tuesday, June 23, 2009

On Sunday night I returned from a wedding in Boulder, Colorado. Flying from Philadelphia last Thursday over God's green earth was the moment I needed to take a deep breath and exhale all of life's stressors and daily responsibilities. At home, I have 4 kids and a husband and a part-time job along with the enjoyment of the In Her Heart... magazine and Whole Heart speaking ministry. Also, we recently learned that we have a new bundle on the way, so the getaway was a privileged time to be alone with God.

Flying into Colorado is such a scene of beauty. I caught a bus at the airport to Boulder and immediately inquired of the bus driver, David, "Which side of the bus will face the mountains as we drive towards Boulder?" I settled quickly into the front seat as he remarked they would be right out the front window. After a long conversation with him, it's no wonder he loves his job: staring into the snow capped mountains day after day has never grown monotonous for him!

The white tipped mountains was astounding to see in the middle of June, as I took pictures that didn't do them justice. Such majestic reminders of God's creation and abilities to make all that is "good"! Suddenly as we neared Boulder, it seemed to have begun snowing. Apparently for 3-4 weeks in early summer the cotton trees bloom and shed cotton which rains down from the trees throughout this region, appearing as soft, large snowflakes. What a glorious welcome God had given me... a royal court of snow capped mountains sitting upon the tallest thrones and a love shower of soft cotton petals. His thoughtfulness is too much!

Upon arriving at my destination, I walked out of the bus station and down Pearl Street breathing in the cleanest air I've ever had the privilege to inhale. Glancing up at the crystal blue sky dotted with puffy cumulous clouds it was as if God had painted the heavens Himself that day. When I turned down 17th Street I had the privilege of walking through blocks and blocks of rose gardens in full bloom. As I was in Boulder to attend a wedding, it was quite fitting that God had allowed my path to be covered with fallen rose petals, as if to remind me that I was His bride and He my bridegroom. Every turn of this trip was perfected by His love and His presence. I was reminded time and time again that our God created the Heavens and the earth and all that is grand and trivial concerns Him.

I thank God that He directed my steps and I pray that the power of the Holy Spirit shown through my heart as I interacted with many "spiritual" people.

Just as our magnificent and unchanging God created the Heavens and earth in 6 days, He has also created this child growing within me. I pray that He perfects this creation and looks down into my womb and sees that it is "good". Praise be to God for His sovereignty, power and goodness!

In Her Heart... In Home Gathering

In Her Heart... In Home Gathering is an opportunity for us to bring the magazine alive in the homes of women. We have fellowship, play a game with a powerful object lesson that is hysterical, we take prayer requests, share one of our God stories and then receive and answer questions as part of our Coaching Christians for Christ (R) ministry.

Last night we spent the evening at Brigantine Bible with 23 of the most amazing women! We spent a few hours with these women, sharing hearts, playing a fun game, and recieving and answering questions. The Holy Spirit showed up and blessed. We had the privilege to pray over one with some of there women and it was powerful. We were blessed by their desire to know God more! Thank you BB for inviting us into your church home!

Sharing Hearts 6.18.09

>> Friday, June 19, 2009

Last night Whole Heart hosted an opportunity for women to come and share their hearts at their home church VBC. It is wonderful to have the support of our Pastors and leadership board. It is more incredible to have been blessed by these women and the personal accounts of their lives.
Here is a little of what we experience as if we could put it on paper.
"~Thank you so much for this opportunity to share I have never been given a forum to speak to women in the hopes that what God has done for me will minister to others."
"~Thank you so much for finding value in what God is doing in and through us, others would rather turn away."
"~I want the world to know that they can have hope in Jesus."
"~I have prayed for my family members for years and one by one they have all come to the Lord, God is faithful!"
"~Thank you so much for your obedience to love women and reach out to them!
Women shared their 'HEARTS' beyond sharing they unvieled themselves before God and women to Glorify the Father in how HE has taken the messy broken pieces and has and is putting back those pieces to make a grand masterpeice of glory for himself."

We honor and respect the women who shared. No actual words or accounts have been mentioned in order to protect their privacy. By far it is something that God has put together, hand picked those who came to hear and those who shared. One night in His-Story with a small group of God's daughters to bond and love in the name of Jesus, never to be exactly replicated again. A once in a lifetime gift, once in lifetime personal gathering with sisters. We were all blessed!
~

“Sharing Hearts”
An evening out to support and encourage our sisters who are called to share their “God Stories.”
Please be sensitive as she is taking a step of obedience it can come with great anticipation as she is about to unveil herself to others. It can be intimidating or a nerve wracking moment in a woman’s mind that she is about to allow herself to be vulnerable to others. This is all a natural response and attack from the enemy. An obedient woman is a woman that will be blessed and protected by the Lord. It is our job to be encouragers and supporters and in that we will be blessed. This evening is for the sole purpose of Glorifying our Lord and Savior. In that, we will see God minister to the speaker and the listener’s hearts. Thank you to those who came to love on these women.
Thank you to those who came to share and bless us.

A Psalm of David.
~Grace~Grace~Grace~...God's Amazing Grace...

I am excited that God's grace has been poured out all over me and I have been set Free!!! I am not just talking about unmerited favor, which is one aspect of Grace.
I am talking the supernatural power to love the unlovable, forgive when unforgiven, and have mercy on those who lack mercy!!! I am talking about the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to just love with joy despite the heartache and the pain! I am talking about being able to move forward and not looking back, confident in God alone no matter who is standing by you. I am talking about the Grace that grips our hearts, motivates our faith, propels us into action and compels us that we can not not serve, love and obey Him.
I am talking about the Grace that sets us free!Free from: sin, self, and others!
My Grace has been revealed to me as a "GENTLE GIANT" that has, is and will continue to transform me beyond my thoughts can hold. God's Grace gives us the POWER to overcome the impossible, the unthinkable, and the most challenging. God's Grace is Jesus in us after we have confessed and believed Him to be the Son of God, the King of our lives and the Savior of our spirits. This revelation can take years to learn and develop. Digging deeper to understand God's Grace in which our deepest comprehension is yet still skimming the surface.
It is only by the Holy Spirit that can enlighten us to this truth. (Eph 1)
Man has journeyed throughout the earth to find the mystery of the supernatural, I tell you this: the journey is no further than the condition of our own hearts! One may concur it takes much work and effort, yet I tell you this: It is all about trust, obedience and RESTING contra re to popular belief!!! It truly is a total lifestyle change and the way we have been taught.
Grace is freedom that holds us accountable and leads us to the foot of the cross. We are free yet bonded in Christ Jesus. If we say we love Him, then He says the evidence of that is that we will keep His commandments. It will bring us great joy to please our Father! If Grace has gripped us than the evidence of this is a forgiving heart, a loving spirit, a tender tongue. The evidence of Grace transforming us will be an illuminating light shining forth as the Holy Spirit upholds the Word of God in us and through us. We cannot not live the truths of the Scriptures. They not only become our navigational life manual, they become a light unto our feet. Our journey in life is one of many ups and downs, victories and victories even in our saddest times we are never defeated!
No one person has the same path, nor same set of circumstances, or being prepared for the same purpose. However, it is the most amazing, individual, personal relationship and mastered creation as God does His work in us according to the counsel of His own will.No two set of feet will walk, endure, train, and persevere through the exact same set of plans. He prepares us individually for His exact purpose. This is why it is unwise to compare ourselves to one another, as Paul writes in the Scriptures, only compare yourself to that of Jesus Christ. That is why we can believe and allow for ourselves and others the grace and mercy to grow and live out our callings in life as we come to realize that God is in complete control and we are not.
Two verses to help us overcome: Father forgive them they know not what they do... We wrestle not with flesh and blood...Our experiences past, present and future will all intersect and weave together as THE GOLDEN THREAD OF GOD reveals a true tapestry of God's handiwork in our lives!!!
Ps. I have heard that there are those who use Grace as a "liberty" that they are not under the law nor the commandments. I am led to ask this, "Why then did the authors of the Bible feel compelled to continue to write God's Words to the churches telling them what their behavior should and should not look like? The Bible would have been empty pages there after that verse. My Bible shows me that My God loves me so much that He has equipped me with the truth of the world and the schemes of our hearts. He has shown me what is of Him and what is not of Him, He has shown me that we must repent and be tenderhearted. I was one who claimed grace with a hard heart of self righteousness, I have seen both sides, ummmmm. I have been set free from myself!!! God is a God of order, He has given us the scriptures to be obedient and the means of repentance when we are not. Let us not misuse the Grace of Jesus Christ. It was Grace that brought you to accountability with Jesus at the cross in the first place is it not? And why would the journey stop there? It is just the beginning......just the beginning of walking with God.

I have met the Grace of Salvation 18 years ago, but just recently in the past 4 years I have embraced the Grace of total abandoment to self, again a lifetime journey with God.
I thank God for my godly mentors: Corrie Ten Boom, Esther Ahn Kim, Brother Yun, countless others for sharing their God Stories that forever have changed my life!

With much love for God's women! Debbie Mascioli

Hard Heart?

>> Thursday, June 18, 2009

Are you angry? Do you struggle with bitterness, stress, or anxiety? Does your heart feel heavy and your spirit weary? I can remember a time in the not so distant past where that was my daily struggle. It was a stronghold that had gripped me for years, the problem was that I didn't even realize it. I had gotten so used to living that way that I just figured that was the way it was supposed to be. My norm, so to speak. It wasn't until a prompting by The Holy Spirit through the words of my own child that I began to realize the state I was in.

"Mom, why do you have to be angry all the time?" HMMM. What to do with that?

My first reaction was to go down my list of usual excuses and justification that had become my first line of defense. "I'm not always angry, I upset now because......, and why can't you people see all that I do?....... I'm trying to get all this done, and I have to hear you all whine and complain instead of helping ......" and the list could go on.

Psalms 8-11
"Harden not your heart as in the day of provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me and proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways. Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest."
My heart had gone astray, and I had no rest. The constant weight of anger frustration and bitterness had shrunk me down for years. Bitterness oozed from my being. My children suffered, my husband suffered, my family suffered. I was a mess.

That day, a wonderful transformation took place. The Holy Spirit began , to open my eyes to the truth. I was angry. At everyone and everything. Much of my anger, bitterness and anxiety had built up over the years do to the fact that I was angry at God! Oops, am I allowed to say that? It may not be something that I wanted to admit, but that was the truth as God revealed it to me. As I look back now, He was revealing that truth to me for a long time, but I refused to acknowledge that, for fear of what exactly that meant. How could I be angry at God? Christians are not supposed to be angry at God. It's just not something that is "accepted" so to speak. You just don't get angry at God. Too bad. I couldn't deny it. I wasn't just angry, I was bitter and my heart was hard. I was so mad at Him for the things He allowed in my life. I was furious at Him for not protecting me. My bitterness mounted up for years had changed my countenance to the point that I lived in bitterness and frustration most of the time. And my family was dealing with the brunt of it!

We'll what was I to do? I was angry at God. And this day, there was no getting around it.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:Casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you.

So, I just surrendered it all to Him. I allowed myself to be broken to the point of total abandon and let God do His perfect work. Did He "get me" you ask? Did He shoot out lightning from the sky and strike me down right there? No. Obviously not since I am writing this now.
It was nothing short of AWESOME!

HE met me there. And He loved me there. A miracle occurred in my heart that day, when He graciously allowed me to accept Him and His love. It had always been there, but I hadn't known how to accept it. In fact, I couldn't accept it before, because I was angry and bound by my stronghold of bitterness. With His great loving kindness He whispered His truths to me and revealed my own heart. And it was UGLY! I repented, and He once again, graciously forgave me. I learned in that place, that God, was not The God I thought He was. He was not the God I was taught He was.

From that moment on, we embarked on a new journey together. He has shown me over and over again How much He loves me, and does care for me. He provides for me like no one else can. My God supplies all my needs and gives me love unconditionally and over abundantly. He has released me from the bondage that held me captive for so many years. Do I still struggle with anger? Yes, I do. However, I know now that the my best defense is a good offense. I get on my knees and give it to God.
How about you? Where are you in your journey of faith? What is standing between you and all that God has for you today?
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

TODAY!

>> Tuesday, June 16, 2009

How many of us hear the whisper of the Holy Spirit telling us to call someone or drop her a note or even pray for him or her? Can you recall a time when the urging prompted you to reach out her tomorrow? Most likely not! The Holy Spirit lives and touches us, reminds us, fills us, comforts us in the present. Typically it is our humanness, our busyness that responds, "Yes, I've got to remember to do that. I can get to that tomorrow." The question is... does tomorrow ever come? From my experience, the Holy Spirit's promptings are forgotten as quickly as they come if I do not act on them when He tells me to.

I have been guilty more often than not in the past of throwing a little water on the spirit, which Paul warns us will eventually quench the spirit (1 Thessolonians 5:19). Friendships have always come easy to me, however the deeper and more faithful my fellowship with women becomes the clearer I see my laziness and relational faults. One of many is my laziness in continually encouraging those women around me that the Lord has allowed me to know are hurting or struggling.

The Lord is the greatest encourager, the only Hope, and the living, healing water. By His hand alone have I arrived in the place where I can see Him directing my path. Over the last 18 months, He has impressed upon me the importance of the words we speak; I began asking myself how many I actually spoke truthfully and in love (Ephesians 4:15). Not that I walked around lying, but when another woman asked a hard question, how often did I take the easy way out? the unloving way out? I'm sad to say that before God opened my ears, eyes and heart to hearing His truth and before He planted a passion for following this Voice of Truth, I ran towards the easy way out, especially in difficult or complicated relationships. He desires for us to mature in His word and to use it to sharpen one another's countenance, to call one another to repentance, and to live by it's instruction. We can measure the depth of love we have for other women by the amount of truth we speak to them and over them. His word is the only thing we can rely on to produce fruit.

So God has so lovingly and patiently encouraged me to seek Him and love His truth. Lately, He seems to be going before me, yet following me around with the same verse. Most recently in the prayer room at our last women's conference, my name was pinned to a page in the Bible with the HIGHLIGHTED verse! How much more obvious could He be, and still I ask, "Is this what You really want me to do?" The verse is Hebrews 3:13, "But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened thorugh the deceitfulness of sin."

God is encouraging me to love others more than myself and to call them to my side and comfort, exhort, beseech them with passion to repent and remain near to the only living God. And now I encourage you to do the same.

Romans 15:1-2 "We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbor his good to edification."

God is at work in all of us!!!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 KJV)

Oh how we stumble and fall over the lies of the enemy. We lack truth, we lack confidence in who we are in Christ and we can lack obedience. Somehow we all go through a process in our journey for the Lord that God reveals the depths of our own sin and when repentance is made it can propel us into action to love others with an understanding that we have been there also. The beginning of this verse says; We know….We know….We know what? Do we really know that ALL, ALL not some, not a few, not a little, but ALL things work together for good,?Even when it’s tough, even when it’s exhausting, even when its troublesome, even when it doesn’t seem right nor logical. That’s right, ALL things work together for GOOD to them that love God to them who are the called according to HIS purpose. Does it say our purpose, our desire, our expectations? NO HIS.
So why do we act like we can direct God? I hate that about myself.

Do we really KNOW this? Has it penetrated our hearts? We will know if it has been revealed to us by how we respond to life’s issues around us. But be of good cheer and know there is no sin which is uncommon to man, we all have fallen short and have lacked faith and trust to believe the scriptures. It is not only humbling but also motivating after we have repented of sin and the error of our way, we then come to a revelation for others, and we can share and say "I understand" and claim the verses to overcome for everyone. Because we should be confident that: Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6)

So we can see that it is God which begins the work of salvation in us, and it is God that will perform that work in and through us until the day of Jesus. So the same mercy we desire others to have for us as we stumble in the darkness trying to find our way in life or as we trip fall down and get back up, this same mercy we should have for others. Those in Christ Jesus are his, and God is working it all out, and everything is according to his purpose.
So why do we choice to wrestle with flesh and blood?
Because our focus is on everything around us rather than in us. We are more distracted by what others are doing or not doing than the work that God desires to do in us. How often we can be distracted of the enemy’s lies to allow our feelings and emotions to take over our being. We can easily be side tracked to work out OTHERS salvation rather than working on our own. This is a trap that I believe all Christians are caught in. If the enemy can keep us focused on everyone else but our selves, he will stunt the growth of a believer. I first hand admit I have been down this road and like Paul, the chief of sinners. However also like Paul, being the chief of sin and then delivered from it, I now understands the importance of sharing the truth for others to be delivered.
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me. (Philippians 2:12-18 KJV)

The main reason we sin against ourselves, others and ultimately God is because we are not working out our own walk with fear and trembling. For if we believed that it is God which worketh in us to will and do of His good pleasure then we would not murmur of dispute what others do or have done. It is tough to get this from the brain to the heart. We understand the words but until they are grafted in we will continue to murmur towards others.
It is a hard thing to expose our hearts to God and allow Him access to do pruning, it hurts and it is so ugly, so very ugly, it is disgusting. But thanks be to God that when He has revealed this truth to us, He takes out the dead and heals it with new life. We will feel sanctified, cleansed and there is a refreshing joy of new living water springing up in us as we experience yet more and more liberating moments over sin. Examining our selves is one of the absolute best bitter sweet things ever to occur in our walk with God. It is through obedience that the sweet is the reward for releasing the bitter, amen!

So if we understood that God’s grace is working in and through us individually , and He is faithful to His Word for us, isn’t He just as faithful in these verses to others? Think about it, and does the clay say to the Potter why do you do what you do? Is God not in control of all things, does He not reign on the just and the unjust? We must be very careful if a true need arises to approach it with truth in love, and an understanding heart of reconciliation. How can we do this?
We must hold forth the Word of LIFE. Rather spending countless hours of being consumed of others , It would be in our best interest to be in our Bibles and allowing that to transform us in this crooked and perverse nation. Isn’t if funny how we know how difficult it is for us to be changed and grow in areas that seem so difficult but yet we can lack the compassion for others in theirs areas of struggle, as if they should have arrived on the spot? In all honesty we can do this most in our marriages towards our spouses, have higher expectations for them than God and we battle against God in our unbelief and disappointment rather than allow God to have His way with them andus.

Point to Ponder: Only God can change the heart of man…we wrestle not with flesh and blood….beware of the enemies lies that your feelings and emotions are valid, they are not…they are wicked and deceptive that is why we are told to take EVERY thought captive to the obedience of God… God’s grace is a beautiful gift to us personally, how much more the freedom for others to experience it for themselves on the time table God is working in them…. All of our interactions and discomforts are not for us to change others but for us to be transformed in the teaching God is trying to bring us to, which is mainly to be in our Words daily properly responding to sin and others with the Word as our authority, not feelings.
Grace, Grace, Grace…. It comes with such accountability…. And must be reverence with holiness and obedience. Let us give God the room to have His way with us an others as He sees fit for His purpose and His glory. Let us Thank Him for revealing the depths of His grace to us. Let us TRUST HIM that He knows best and when things just dont seem right we walk by faith not by sight.
THERE IS FREEDOM AND DELIVERANCE IN OBEDIENCE AND GRACE. PRAISING GOD FOR HIS MERCY, FORGIVENESS, LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS TO A SINNER SUCH AS I. God I love you, Jesus I adore you and Holy Spirit I am desperate for you in my life.

Tender Hearts, forgiveness and kindness....Refreshing.

>> Thursday, June 4, 2009

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32 KJV)
a tender heart is priceless to God, forgiving one another is freedom for the soul and being kind is like the cherry on top. There are some rare cases that we may not be able to exchange the sentiments of truth because of the other parties rebellion, yet if we have done all we can to be accountable for ourselves then we just continue in kindness.
kindness is demonstrated by being graceful towards others
tender heart is by allowing yourself to be in anothers shoes and offering mercy and the benefit of the doubt
forgiving is trusting God with the consequences for they know not what they do. It is easy to have a forgiving heart when our hearts are driven with truth and not our emotions or feelings.
even as Christ has forgiven us. Scriptures tell us great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend thee. If it seems to be a habitual thing go to the brother and try to work it out gving them the benefit of doubt out of kindness, a tender and forgiving heart. IF it gets you no where you were obedient and will be blessed for your response. If you talk and work things out you've won an brother.
Dont allow yourself to get caught up in talking about others. Gossip, backbiting and jealous are not of God they are direct hits of the enemy to cause division and destruction. They certainly do not emulate be ye kind one to another...... stay away from those who justify division with hurt feelings. The scriptures clearly tell us how to deal with our circumstances.
Dont stew over emotions and feelings, sort out facts and if you find yourself critical about alot of things with alot of critizism and a hard heart for truth ask the Good Lord to tenderize your heart bring you to a place of kindness and mercy. Most often when we have alot to complain about the problem isnt others it is us. Most of us learn that the hard way unfortunately. Being negative doesnt bring glory to God nor edify the hearer.
God is in control, if we spent 1/3 of the time working on ourselves rather than worrying about others, and edifying others, loving and going out of our way for others what a better world we'd live in. Are we part of the solution or the problem? Where is the condition of our hearts this very moment? Identify your position, put on the armor and claim victory in Jesus. How do we live this verse out? TAking personal time with God, alone time and in the word reading and praying that God would use His living Words to transform our hearts. If we are not seeking Him daily, we will find ourselves struggling to maintain. Heb 11:6b says that He is a rewarder to those who diligent seek Him. Does it say he is a rewarder to those who do not seek Him?Let us humble ourselves in the sight of God.....
May we all seek to be obedient to scriptures to bless others and show that God is real and working in our lives!!!!

Being filled....

>> Friday, May 22, 2009

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21 KJV)

Paul is writing that we woul be strenghened by the Spirit in our inner man. Inner man is soul-conscienceness. That we would be made strong in that Christ may dwell in our hearts. to dwell, settle
a) metaph. divine powers, influences, etc., are said to dwell in his soul, to pervade, prompt, govern it

by faith. That Christ may influence through divine powers, pervade, prompt and govern your heart by faith or trusting Him that he can. If we have trusted this deeply we may be rooted and grounded in his love and able to comprehend with all the saints the depth of his love.

To know the love of Christ... to know the love of Christ...to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowledge that we might be filled with ALL the fulness of God.

Not only to know the love the depth of love of Christ that passeth our knowledge but that we might be filled with ALL the fulness of God! Whoa, Wow, and wow. Filled filled to full, cause to abound with the fulness (filled of abundance, keeping) of God. A walking testiment of the evidence of His fulness is such godliness and holiness but not perfection, never perfection until taken home. A heart that is obedient, yeilded and desirest to display the fulness of God. Ummmm I am still on the know the love, I am afraid my tiny mind cannot come to understand how deep that love is. I am desperate to know, I want to know the love of Christ that passes my understanding.

Now unto him that is able, that is able to do exceeding, abundantly ABOVE ALL, ABOVE ALL that we ask or think, according to the POWER THAT WORKETH IN US!

Being filled with the fullness of God will be most noticeable! The evidence of the work of God in ones life will be a power and a filling that leads to supernatural evidences that God is alive, real and working in and through us.

This evidence will display the fruit of the Spirit, love, forgiveness and desire for unity as the next chapter leads into. The most remarkable enlightenment comes from obedience and to know the love Christ to the point we are filled with ALL the fullness of God.

What more can we say, this passage places me in AWE of what God has yet to do in these last days. May we all desire to be filled with all the fullness of God.

To know God more is to abide in Him more. If we ask ourselves is the fullness of God radiating from our lives what would be our answer? Are we desperate for Jesus? If not, what is going on in our lives that is keeping us from pursuing God and being filled with His fullness? May the conditions of our hearts be right before God and that we understand the power of His fellowship.

Sinner, Meet the Savior

>> Tuesday, May 19, 2009

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for a pattern to them which should here after believe on Him to life everlasting. 1 Timothy 1:15-16

I recall a time in the not so distant past when The Lord was drawing me out of the sinfulness I had been bound to for so long, and back into His arms. During that time, He began to work on my heart and clearly define a path for my life. He did not reveal the entire path, just the way to the next few steps to walk in. And, I was paralyzed. ............................

I charge thee....

>> Sunday, May 17, 2009

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:1-8 KJV)

We are charged before God and Jesus to; Preach the Word; be instant (be ready) in season (when it is convenient) and out of season (when it is not convenient); reprove (bring to light, convict sin or wrong doing) rebuke ( charge sharply) exhort (encourage, strengthen, instruct and teach) with all longsuffering and doctrine. We have been charged with all these things. Paul is writing to Timothy possibly his last words a warning of things to come and how to prepare for them.

This same message is for us today. We must be obedient to do these things through the Holy Spirit because the time will come when others will not endure sound doctrine (we see this now everywhere!!!) after their own lust shall heap to themselves teachers that will teach only what they want to hear. In other words, watering down the message to make them feel comfortable about themselves, no thought of sin nor repentance, no gospel of truth, believing there are many ways to God and heaven. They shall turn away their ears from the truth....

They shall turn away, meaning they have once been with the truth and they turned from it to follow fables. Paul tells us even while all this is going on around us today, we are to:
Watch in all things (be aware of the evil and cunning lies of the enemy) endure afflictions ( do not run from them stand fast in your faith, stand courageous for truth and righteousness) do the work of an evangelist ( share the truth) make full proof of the ministry. SHOW PEOPLE GOD WORKS!!! EVIDENCE THE FULL PROOF OF JESUS CHRIST'S MINISTRY.

How do we know this applies to us as well? ALL SCRIPTURE is given... for instruction. Through obedience the blessings come and if, if, if, we obey. God says, If you, I will.

Let us be looking and in love with His appearing!!

Do you Believe this?

>> Saturday, May 16, 2009

But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:10-17 KJV)

Paul says, you have known my doctrine, the way I live, my purpose, my faith, I am longsuffering, I love others, I am patient. He has been persecuted and afflicted, even to the depths of how severe his torture was, God delivered him. The verses before these went over the warning of the apostasy and how bad things will get, he tells us that evil men will be worse deceiving and they themselves will be more deceived. He says do not get caught up in all of this;
Continue in the things which you have learned from him in the holy scriptures which is able to make you wise.
ALL scripture, not some, not a little, but ALL scripture is given by God and is profitable for knowing your doctrine, WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE? Make sure you believe the truth of God's Word and not man's twisted conception of it. Even in the simplest quotes like God helps those that help themselves. This is not biblical nor is it true. God clearly shows throughout His Word He helps those who are helpless. The scriptures explain how to reproof someone biblical, it is our guideline and helps correct us when we are wrong and for the greatest purpose of all it is our instruction for righteousness through faith in Christ Jesus!

If we do not believe the Word is used for the purposes it states we are in great danger. Being obedient to God's view on life and not the worlds is a big switch from what we are surrounded with through lies and deception.

He tells us all this for this exhortation! That the man of God my be perfect, thoroughly furnished or finished perfectly unto all good works. When we are surrendered and obedient filled with the Holy Spirit, we are just empty vessels for the Spirit to do His perfect good works through us. However if we resist Him, we can still do "good" works but it is no longer His work, it is ours which will burn no matter how good it is. God shares His glory with no one, the good works of the Holy Spirit through us is most definitely different than the good works we run around crazy trying to do for ourselves.

This know also, in the last days.... we are in the last days. Those who live godly IN Jesus, yielded to the Holy Spirit shall suffer persecution... regardless..... continue in what you learned and is taught by Paul through the scriptures and do not let anyone tell you different.... ALL scripture is given for.... ALL of it, now, ALL of it. It wasn't even finished in the church age, it is completed and given ALL of it for us today. For the purpose that we be made perfect unto His good works.

Lord, help us all to trust in your Word completely, not adding our opinions, nor taking away what we feel uncomfortable with. May we allow the Holy Spirit to be our teacher in all things and obey Him instantly for your glory. Help us Father, keep us from the enemies lies, the deception of evil men and the falling away of those who claim Jesus. Strengthen your Body with pouring out of the Holy Spirit to endure those things which are to come. Prepare us for the spiritual battle that is to come. May we all in Christ Jesus be girded up in the Word, knowing the truth and allowing that truth to set us free! In the Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen!

PS: An encouragement let us not not get caught up in those who do wrong and are deceived, let us just continue in what God has called us to do, be obedient, faithful, study your Word and love others. This is what Paul is saying, stay focused on what God puts before you and do not get taken down by the deception and lies of men.

To Believe or Not Believe that is the Question!

>> Friday, May 15, 2009

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, {false...: or, one who foments strife} Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. {reprobate: or, of no judgment} But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. (2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV)

In the last days there shall be perilous times or in the Greek, we can say the last days hard to do, hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous, fierce and savage times shall come. If I may speak from my own experience we in America have yet to see this come to its full extend but we are in the birth pangs of it. For the scriptures reveal the following:

  • Men shall be lovers of self-selfish coveteous- covet money and material things or what someone else has relationship wise
  • boasters-an empty pretender now that's a more powerful statement the Greek is good.
  • proud-showing one's self above others, over topping, conspicuous above others
  • pre-eminent.... with an overweening estimate of one's means or merits, despising others or even treating them with contempt
  • haughty blasphemers-speaking evil, slanderous, reproachful, railing, abusive
  • disobedient to parents
  • unthankful, unholy without natural affections
  • truce breakers-without a treaty or covenant of things not mutually agreed upon e.g. abstinences from hostilities... that cannot be persuaded to enter into a covenant, implacable
  • False accusers prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely a calumniator, false accuser, slanderer, metaph. applied to a man who, by opposing the cause of God, may be said to act the part of the devil or to side with him
  • incontinent-without self control
  • fierce -savage despisers of those that are good
  • opposers of possibly due to jealousy
  • traitors -betrayers, Judas
  • Heady -irrational
  • high minded -typhoo in the Greek to be puffed up with pride to be foolish or stupid

lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God

We can say we see this happening all around us, there may even be a few of these we are guilty of. Look over this list and examine your heart that you may not fall into these categories that God warns us will be evident in the last days. the next verses are sobering and real to the believers heart. First, Lord forgive me for any of these sins, I repent and desire that the condition of my heart be right before you and others. Here is what concerns me the most as we have seen many after these traits and actually the following is more serious:

Having the form of godliness ( or looking like you fit the part) but denying the power thereof. Denying is also refusing or disregarding the power. How many "Christians" do you know that live defeated lives? They have rendered themselves powerless, they come to church, they stay active in service, they even pray out loud, but demonstrate no power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. He says; from such turn away.

What is the condition of their heart? The evidence will be shortly revealed through their words because what is in a heart comes out the mouth. Also under fire will reveal the depths of the heart as well. Scriptures tell us to turn away from these people. These people are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Folks, if we are stuck in this position the key is to BELIEVE! Receive the Word of Truth and live it.

These people are like those before Moses, they resist the truth, reprobates concerning the faith. they shall not proceed any further, before their folly shall be revealed unto all men. God will reveal the false. It would benefit us to obey, trust and live out the scriptures so that we understand the times.

Just because I walk into a Garage doesn't make me an auto-mechanic,, just because I walk into church doesn't make me a christian.A Christian is a believer of Jesus Christ, His Word, and obeys with conviction from the Holy Spirit. A Christian is one who seeks to love God more than anything else, family, friends, "church" "service" "ministry". Love God with all your heart soul and mind and you wont have room for anything else.

Ever learning, and NEVER able to come to the knowledge of the truth???????? Let not that be said about us. Let us pray and seek God diligently! All scripture is given for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness. We need to be in the scriptures to know what they say. Study to show thyself approved unto God..... May we desire a lifestyle that illuminates the power of the Holy Spirit, brings joy to those around us and demonstrates to the unbeliever that God is not only real He works!!!!!

What do you believe?

>> Saturday, May 9, 2009

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:1-3 KJV)

So often we say we believe in the Lord Jesus, we believe His Words and yet we seem to stumble in the darkness to obey. Paul is saying here, I beseech you, instruct, encourage, call for that you walk worthy of your divine invitation with that you are called. And as you walk worthy of that divine calling, walk in lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another, not just forbearing, forbearing one another in LOVE.

The scriptures tell us if we love Him we will keep His commandments (John 14:15). Are we believing this to be the Words of the Lord exhorting us on our behavior towards one another? Do we have the evidence of love towards all? If not it is not genuine to even the few. Love.... Love.....Love of Jesus is pure and easily to be entreated by all. Paul goes on to say Endeavor, exert one's self, give diligence to keep the unity or the bonds that bind together in the Spirit in the bond of peace, harmony, security, and safety.

Paul knew if we could do this in LOVE then we would build a bond of sweet fellowship that is unbreakable. Something that once we believe to be true, would understand the importance of obedience that would bring blessings and answers to prayer. Anything outside of this truth hinders the work of the Lord, not only to the rebellious christian but also to the body of Christ. The ripple effect! Shouldnt that sober us for a desire not to hinder "God" working? Who in their right mind would want that accountability. We know the evidence of Spirit moving because verse 4 tells us there is ONE, just one of the following:

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. (Ephesians 4:4-7)If we are not yielded to the Oneness of the Spirit we are not under the Holy Spirit, we are under false, deceptive spirits. We are given the same exhortations to do right, regardless of feelings and emotions. We are called in the same hope, Jesus Christ, the same Spirit, the Holy Spirit the same body, Jesus, one God, one faith.

Why do we divide the truth for division, why are we not multiplying the solution!!!!! We cannot ignore the truths of God's Word. How do we move about in ourselves, justifying anything opposite of what we are called to do. We either BELIEVE this to be truth or not. If we believe it, we will embrace it, be obedient to it and love the blessings that comes from trusting in it. However, if we are causing disunity, not loving the brethren, backbiting, gossiping, slander, jealously, envying, whatever, we are under the spirit of bondage and prisoned within our own hearts.
To be set free, even as a believer, you must BELIEVE.

10 Reasons to Believe.... yeah 11 to celebrate!

>> Thursday, May 7, 2009

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Isaiah 41:10-13)

Is this verse not amazing?! Fear not (1) for I AM with thee (2) be not dismayed; for I AM thy God (3) I will strengthen thee (4) yea I will help thee (5) I will uphold thee with the RIGHT hand of my righteousness (6) all against thee shall be ashamed and confounded (7) they enemy shall be as nothing (8) they that strive with thee shall perish (9) you wont find them (10)

For I the LORD thy God WILL HOLD YOUR RIGHT HAND, FEAR NOT, I WILL HELP THEE.
He holds our hand, He holds our right hand, God holds our right hand, do we see this, are we reading this, are we understanding this? God holds our right hand. If you had a body guard who was 6'6tall and 250lbs of big, bad, and bossy would you fear?
How much more should we not fear because GOD holds our right hand? Girls are we getting the power in this, oh my!!!!!!! We have spent countless hours fearful, anxious, overwhelmed....for what???????? please help us.....we are wasting time, energy, emotions and victories over circumstances.

The God of the universe has clearly spoken truth, confidence, and power over us, that He would hold our right hand. There is NO REASON to fear, for He will help us. Do we believe this scripture? What is the evidence of our trust? Do we stand strong on a sure foundation, or are we weak, weary, and fearful of our circumstances? example:

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. (Matt 17:19-20)

It does not take much to believe, its a choice. Won't you choose to be victorious in Jesus today!

If God be for us who could be against us (Rom 8:31) Hallelujah What A Savior!

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (John 6:28-29)

How many of us ask ourselves what is the work of God for us? How do we fit in the bigger plan for the Kingdom of God? This verse is the answer to just that. You see, the work of God cannot be fruitful, nor productive through self. In other words if we are serving on our own strength, coming up with our own plans, and running the rat race it is considered "our work" and not the "work of God". Here is the key: THAT YOU BELIEVE ON HIM WHOM HE HATH SENT. That may seem to easy to just believe, consider this:

You will not stand up for something you do not believe in: you will not promote, share, nor bear it! If we do not fully believe with all of our heart, the Word of God to be truth, we will be paralyzed, fearful and defeated in our walk with Him. We must believe in order to move forward with power and confidence.

Many "Christians" say they are embarrassed or shy away from standing for Jesus, almost as if they were ashamed to proclaim they are Christians. How does so many that claim Jesus, lack the power, desire and assurance of Jesus? Could the answer trace back to what they believe?

Many of us believe: the lies we have been brought up with, the lies our "religions" have told us, our "traditions", our false perceptions, and the strong pull of the enemy. Unfortunately, lies distort the truth just a bit and take away from trusting in Him.

The only way to reverse the lies is to envelope yourself in His Truth. Spending quiet time with the Lord will make all the difference in what you hear and obey!!! The evidence of God's power in our lives is not in what we say, but what our actions reveal.

What do you believe in?

The people believed God....not Jonah....

>> Tuesday, May 5, 2009

And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. {exceeding: Heb. of God} And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. (Jonah 3:1-5 KJV)

This was my Morning Word this morning: The word of the Lord came unto Jonah a second time. (The word of the Lord comes to us as well. When we are abiding, we can clearly hear. When we are busy we have a tendancy to miss His gentle whisper). We know the first time came when Jonah got his official orders to go to Ninevah and he rebelled and went to Joppa instead. There God had to get a hold of Jonah to renegotiate the deal. So we see a "second time" being a second chance and Jonah being obedient. A day into the city Jonah cries out YOU WILL BE OVERTHROWN. He brings warnings.... the people do what? The people of Nineveh believed Jonah? ummmm, No, they believed God.

See when we are obedient to God's direction, there will be evidence it is not of man but of God. The wicked people of Nineveh recognized the Spirit of God in Jonah and therefore yielded to the Spirit of God, not man. The Spirit of God moved Jonah to the place of being the messenger and the people clearly acknowledged that God moves through man. How about that. So if we find that as we are abiding in the Lord and God gives us orders to move out and others yield, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US! It is totally the Spirit of God in us drawing. We are just the empty vessel housing the God of the universe to partake in the most amazing supernatural occurrences we could ever hope to see and be apart of. However, DANGER ZONE we must remember, I, me, have nothing to do with the work, other than showing up and then watching God show off!!!
May you experience the Voice of God and follow with complete obedience to partake in the most amazing supernatural blessings one eyes could set themselves upon!!! Repentance is the blessing in this passage... may we all have a heart to yield to that.
Joyfully His,
Debbie
