The Fast to Fight for those we love!

>> Thursday, December 9, 2010

Who are we willing to fight for?

Recently I have been bombarded with such extreme needs within my christian community. Churches in need of pastors, facebook strikes again with the spirit of jealousy, envy, and lusting into adulterous affairs. Facebook is now citied in 81% of divorce cases! People struggling/dying of cancer. Out of 50 prayer requests 20 are for those who have cancer! Finances, so many out of jobs, threatening to be laid off, or being cut back in pay, strikes, and benefits taken away. The list goes on.

In the last days, the Scriptures tell us that God himself warns us that many will fall away, leave doctrine, want their ears tickled and even the very elect will be decieved. How can this happen?

We can speculate and even over opinionate our thoughts, however the main thing to hold onto is girding ourselves up in the Word and guarding our hearts, minds, eyes, and company we keep against evil. Maintaining our relationship and intimacy with Jesus and our spouses!

Within our churches we will wax cold, calling good evil and evil good. Wonder how that can happen? We just keep sweeping it under the carpet in the name of "love." Where is our integrity that honors the Lord and demonstrates Jesus works just fine being obedient His way and not making it about us doing it our way? The ministry of reconciliation is God's opportunity to use his people to instruct those who oppose themselves in meekness that if he preadventure will grant repentance and be saved from the snare of the enemy. It also shows forgiveness and restoration. It is a beautiful picture of how God restores when one is submissive to repentance and it also demonstrates that God is serious if your not willing to repent then there is broken fellowship. Broken fellowship is not to be mean, but to stand against the seriousness of sin and in hopes the believer will feel put out and be drawn back into the fold.

The scriptures are CLEAR Heb 3 while it is yet TODAY let us encourage one another that our hearts be not hardened! Dont wait till tomorrow, who guarantees we have it?

Church...Body of Christ... we seriously need to fast and pray. We seriously need to put aside our feelings and our emotions and weigh it all on the table of FACTS and TRUTH. We refuse to address sin for sin. We refuse to step into conflict to make peace. We refuse to get involved in someone else's business for their own good. The Scriptures command us to tell the truth in love. Using scriptures and not our personal opinion to hold up truth to a matter.

We must fight the spiritual realm of complacency and do life God's way. His way is the only way we will see transformation. I shutter to think we go through our trials unwilling to fight for life in the spiritual realm.

A call to fight, fight through fasting to set the oppressed free, for wisdom and favor, for health, and most of all deliverance! May we walk in truth, worship in Spirit and truth, and speak the truth in love. Our battle is not of this world, it is spiritual and the only way to combat it is in the spiritual. The best action of love is to fast for families.

I have called a fast to many I commune with. I felt a welling up to fight for those in the body of Christ. I woke up with the onset of a headache. I fasted from 1:30 yesterday to 1:30 today. By 12:30 I was hit with the most intense mingraine headache. As I was praying with my husband prior to a wave of nausea came over me. I must admit any other time I would have ran for the Advil. This time I didnt. I fought it out. For one hour I fought the depths of hell with such severe pain in my head I thought I was going to pass out. I cried out to God and paced and rocked that I would not give in to one minute of a committed 24 hour fast for those I love. As I prayed and claimed promises, all I could think about were the marytrs that fight against being tormented and they dont give in.

Everytime I claimed Jehovah-Rophe a release came over me as if God where saying I am with you, but the pain would come back double fold like a sledge hammer and it was if God said I need you to go through this so I can teach you something.

The hour passed long and hard, I have never endured anything like it in my life. Our natural man runs from pain, looks for the quick release and God taught me today endurance. That I fought for those I love and didnt cave in. I have never fought for anyone like that ever. I have never prayed and cried for mercy like that and it was if God opened my eyes to the next level of spiritual warfare. I truly believe I experienced the enemy trying to distract me from my commitment to fast and pray.

By 1:29 a release came over me and the battle was almost done, I had made it. And then.... Jesus came to mind, how he fought in the garden of gethseme...the drops of blood...the agony...the beatings...the torment...the cross. Jesus fought a fight unto death for me. I must say, I was made aware today of how hard it is to stay focused to fight for a cause when you are being tormented. I only fought a hard fight for an hour, Jesus fought for days while he was physically tormented and he endured.

The obedience in fasting.. Matthew 6 says, "When you fast" not if you fast brings about new spiritual truths along with deliverance for those who we lift up and the out pouring of wisdom when in need.

Today, was the most enlightening fast I have ever done. I must say, the most powerful. I believe God honors His promises and that I experienced a spiritual battle like no other because I chose to fight for my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. I am glad to share I didnt retreat, I didnt quit. I had my armor on and the enemy was defeated and Jesus has given me the victory because He already fought for me that I may fight for others.

People want to know they are loved and worth fighting for. Who in your realm of influence needs to know you are willing to give up something of yourself, lay down your desires and fight for them and the trials they face? They need intercession for the release and deliverance over them most are to weak in their state of deception.

May we understand the seriousness of our position IN Christ, in the Body of Christ, and our reasonable service to be a living sacrifice to love one another. Tell someone you love that is ensnared or entangled that you wont give up on them, that you will fight for them in the spiritual realm! ~Be Blessed

A Call to Repentance!

>> Sunday, December 5, 2010

The Lord says, "Seek ye me," "Seek the Lord." Isaiah 1:3 tells us the animals know their masters but the children of God know not theirs, they have forsaken the Lord. Forsaken means to leave, depart, neglect or abandon. How God's heart must have been broken, how sad. However, it is not different today, God is still saying, "Seek ye me!" God continues in Isaiah Chapter 1 to express His weariness. Could we relate this to present day living and our attitudes?

What purpose is the multitude of our sacrifices to me, he says? He wonders and comments "I am full of them." They werent repenting and offering, just offering, kinda like going through the motions. Can we relate to that? Do we skip the heart condition in our sacrifices to God? Do we skip the step of making things right before God and man? We all know what we do to sacrifice for God. Whatever service that may be. Why do we do it? What motivates us? Are we joyful or murmering and complaining? When we have issues unresolved and push them deep within our hearts, ignore them, and just plain try to smooth them over our fellowship is broken with God, sin separates us from Him, yet we show up as if nothing is wrong. We come in His sanctuary unclean and act like here I am all is OK, and He knows the heart. Oh how we need to repent!

He tells them and us, Bring NO more vain oblations, incense is an abomination, so are the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of the assemblies, I cannot deal with, it is iniquity even in the solemn meetings, HE SAYS, my soul hates your appointed feasts, gathers, celebrations, they are trouble to me. Because they were gathering for themselves and claiming it under Him. He had nothing to do with it. Lots of activities and programs, but really, how much is really involving HIM. Hear me, not about HIM but involving HIM? There is such a difference.

Many of us can go through the motions of religion and we do what appears to look right all on the outside, and the things we participate in, organize, or support can ALL be good things. God looks at it as an outer show, He wants our hearts. God can care less about the busyness and amount of "things" we can do in His name. He wants YOU and ME. He doesnt want our faith in rituals and doings, He wants our faith in being, being at His feet! Seeking HIM, not what we can stay busy with.

A CALL TO REPENTANCE....WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF OUR HEARTS?

He further goes on to say, He will not watch our hands up in worship, nor hear our prayers, he says our hands are unclean, put away your evil doings learn to do well, seek judgement, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless and plead for the widows.

God is tired of our doings, it is the message throughout the entire old testament! How tiring it is to talk the same talk over and over and over again. STOP going through the motions with our outer show and commune with HIM, get to KNOW Him and rest at His feet to Hear Him.

He says, we become as harlots, we are cheating on God, we are murderers, rebellious, thieves, loving gifts more than giver, following after our rewards, disobedient. God is saying you are committing adultery against me in every way and cheating me of my relationship with you.

God says in Jeremiah 2 what iniquity have you fathers find in me that they have gone far from me?

God is innocent! He begs us, "Come let us reason together." God is trying to get our attention, in every part of scripture that we would not be like the Israelites, He has given us His Word to teach us and guide us into truth and not be mislead by the wickedness of our own hearts.

He says, IF you be willing and obedient ye shall eat the good of the Land. Sounds to me IF is conditional along with YOU (me and you) are obedient, he follows with a BUT, IF you refuse (choices we make) and rebel we shall be devoured.

Examing our hearts is a daily process. It is a "checking" in of sorts. Running through our minds and tearing down strongholds that come upon us from unclean spirits that we entertain. We must KNOW our Scriptures and engraft them into our hearts. We must have a humble heart of repenting daily for falling away, our flesh, distractions, and the mental battles of deception.

Let us reason together as believers and encourage one another to repent, turn and seek God with a pure heart. Unload the "junk" that is blocking your heart from fully engaging with HIM.

Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand! Isnt that interesting they are the very first words recorded in the scriptures as Jesus began ministry. Repentance is a daily exercise to evaluate where are we at, and where should we be going. To repent means to change direction. How important it is to navigate our hearts daily.

May we all be aware of what is going on in our hearts and lives, and that we are seeking Him with everything we have.~Be Blessed.

The Power of our Words!

SHALOM
Strong’s Concordance 7965 SHALOM: Completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord.
Sar SHALOM (Prince of Peace) is one of the descriptive names the Bible uses to indicate the ministry and personality of the Messiah: Isaiah 9:6 - The Son of God is completely perfect in all things.
So in essence, when you speak out the word SHALOM, you are not only proclaiming peace, but all the above meanings of the word over that person - that’s a mighty blessing!!!
Our words have power! Prov 4:23 death and life are in the power of the tongue. When we speak out of the same mouth comes blessings and cursings James 3:10 these things ought not to be. When we use our words they are for one purpose or another, to bless or curse.
Within the Jewish culture it is customary to greet each other with the word SHALOM! What a gift this is, as they take very seriously the opportunity to bless each other. Consider it the next time you greet with a plain Hey or Hi! Our words have great meaning and effect on others, let us be wise to use our words to impact someone’s life with a blessing!!

Numbers 6:24-26: The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace (Shalom). And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them (Sar Shalom-the Prince of Peace!).
Let us also bless the Lord, Praise His name, and be found speaking the oracles of God rather than our own opinions or thoughts. 1 Pt4:8-11. Remember the saying "A penny for your thoughts" thats about all its worth! Share Gods word over others rather than our own and we will build up the Kingdom of God!

Where did they all go?

>> Friday, June 4, 2010

In Luke 17:11-19 Luke shares the story of Jesus going through Jerusalem passing through the unthinkable Samaria to get there. Jesus was on a mission and did not take up man's offenses. He entered a village not named and there were 10 men with lepers waiting for him standing and maybe huddled on the fringe of the village. Their eyes beheld the glory of Jesus and they all lifted up their voices yelling and crying out, JESUS, MASTER, have mercy on us.

They not only identified him as JESUS the Messiah but they yielded to call Him Master! Jesus healed them and told them to be verified by the priest that they may return unto their village and their families, they were cleansed.

One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorified God, fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan!
What significance that God would not only tell us he went through the despised town of Samaria but that a Samaritan was the only one to Worship HIM!! (side bar: maybe because the Samaritan woman had already been there and she turned her village upside down for Jesus and the entire village knew it! just a thought!!!)

Notice the Lord almost doesnt even take in the worship, he turns the tables and says "There where 10 of you where are the other nine? They were no were to be found they didnt return to give God glory.

Why and how is this? Ten are healed from a deadly isolating disease and only 1 comes with adoration and praise through gratefulness?????? They all acknowledged him as Jesus and Master, how does this happen and why?

The answer is; We can know Jesus, acknowledge him as Master but our hearts only desire what He can give us rather than our hearts solely wanting Him.The nine got what they wanted and the condition of the hearts was evident....they went there way. However one, just one, wanted Jesus more than anything and Jesus says to him, go your way, YOUR faith has made YOU whole.

Sisters, are we confessing Jesus and Master, but our hearts are running away from him? Are we understanding as he blesses us with breath we should worship and praise Him? In the very blessings of His presence are we worshipping Him with the condition of our hearts, does he have our hearts?

Let us examine our hearts, are they veiled with sin or self? Are we allowing the power of God to transform our hearts to be so dependant on Jesus that we come to realize that all we have to do is seek HIM and the healing in our lives comes from our faith.

Our faith is ignited when we are hungering and thirsting after HIM. Not the things he can do for us or give us. Are we wanting Jesus more than anything or are we just wanting what he can give.
We are in the last days, I urge us all to examine our hearts. I know because I have identified the difference in my own life. Our lifestyle is always in need of raising the bar, it is always in need of growing and forever coming to realize we really dont understand the magnificent ways of the Lord. Let us not be stagnate or stuck where we are, but let us all look to Jesus to teach us who He is and who we are not!

Lord forgive me and us for allowing our hearts to be deceive to think we can run to you for what you can give us but not run after you for YOU. Help us all to identify the difference and teach us in this lost and fallen world how distracted we truly are from a Whole Heart totally devoted to YOU! Bless you, in Jesus name, Amen.

The Battle of Pride per the words of James....

>> Wednesday, June 2, 2010

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. (James 4:1-10 KJV)

We have this constant war going on in us. The war of pride, I want what I want when I want it and I want it now!! We chase after things that we will never obtain because they were never meant for us. We are motivated by selfishness, self righteousness, and fear. Our insecurities run our minds and we justify our actions by what the quick fix is in making us feel better. We fight and war and have not what we need or desire because we try to do it all on our own. We think we know better than God so we our motivated by our own agenda, consequently we have not because we didnt ask Him and then wait on Him.

However, when we do ask, it isnt of God, it doesnt line up with the heart of Jesus and we ask amiss because its all about us and not about the work of Jesus. That would be to hard. So we consume what we want according to our lusts rather than our Daddy's will being done in our lives.

We literally commit adultery against God running after, or consuming ourselves with anything or anyone besides Him. We commit adultery against God when our hearts and minds are on feeble things, insecurities, emotions and out of control feelings that arent true. We allow ourselves to link up with the world and we get caught up in it. Is it not true we have enough to work out our own salvation, let alone take on someone else's?

Do we think the scripture saith in vain, the spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

But, but.. but.. what but.... HE gives more grace... He says, (for himself) God resistes the proud and gives grace, Grace, GRace, GRAce, GRACe, GRACE, to the humble.

(sidebar) What is Grace? yes it is unmerited favored, we all like that for ourselves, right? How much more do we like to give it to others who havent earned it? Umm yes now it becomes a little more difficult. The estranged relationship with husband and wife, parent and child, mom and dad friend to friend. Its hard to give Grace which exhibits the love of Jesus through gentleness, kindness, humility and love when we have been wounded or hurt or think bad thoughts about others.

First of all, who are we? We are prideful, sinful people who think we can fix it, and obtain it, remember. We are warring within our ownselves how in the world can we take on someone elses battle? Grace gives us the supernatural ability to love the unloveable, those that dont meet our expectations, those that have wronged us because Jesus gave us grace when we did these things to him and continue in them. God is all about unity and peace. How do we get this grace?

Humble ourselves, acknowlege we have been trying, interferring, plotting, kabitzen, murmering and complaining in our pride rather than resting in the Lord and allowing Him to work in and through us all. Soooo,

Let us submit ourselves to God, RESIST the devil and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, be in your Word and prayer and seeking Him and He will draw nigh to you. Let us....

Cleanse our hands of our prideful heart conditions and purify them as we are double minded. ( I love God, I love myself, I love God, I love myself)

Be afflicted, mourn and weep: feel the pain we have caused our Jesus and others, let our laughter be turned to mourning and our joy to heaviness. ( so we can identify with what we do wrong and how we have wronged God in our adulteress mind, filling up on everything but HIM) It will humble us to admit the pain we have cause our precious Jesus, who knew no sin and took all of our sin on himself for our benefits to be with Him. How ungrateful we can be. We are all on the same playing field, there is no sin which is uncommon to man. We all struggle, war, and battle. The difference is have we prepared to go against it or are we allowing it to take us down?

Let us Humble ourselves in the sight of God and HE shall lift us up. In His presence is where we will find the fullness of JOY!

Lord, help me, help us all as we get caught up in ourselves, in the enemy's scheme against us, and in the world's temptations. Let us remember we are not our own and to remain humble to the cross. Protect our minds and our hearts from pride and allow us to be repentive and forgiving to honor and glorify you!!! Help us to have the right attitude for the Kingdom that we are to multiply and not divide and to esteem others higher than ourselves!! Lord Jesus, I am so thankful for truth and the promise that when we are obedient it sets us free!!! Jesus we love you, adore you, worship you and your Words of life!

J.O.Y.

Many confuse JOY with happiness. Happiness is based on our current physical or emotional condition of getting what we hope for, however JOY is something much greater!

Many will tell you the acronym for JOY is Jesus Others and You. I do not believe others have anything to do with our JOY.

The Lord has revealed to me several years ago and gave me this acronym for JOY.... Jesus Occupying You! You see despite my physical or emotional need the fact is that if I abide in Jesus my joy is no longer based on my circumstances but who takes care of them, amen. Regardless of conditions Jesus Reigns and that is JOY enough in itself, its not what I have but who has me that thrills my soul.

Those who demonstrate this truth are those who BELIEVE in HIM who holds all things in HIS hands. Such as the men, women, and children all over the world being persecuted for their FAITH and doing it with JOY. You see it has nothing to do with conditions (sickness, trials, or pain), everything to do with who He is in us.

The only way to receive true JOY is if you are abiding in HIM and HE in you!

We can go much deeper but for now we contemplate where our JOY is?

Life Lesson: I am not my own....????

>> Thursday, May 27, 2010

How many times have we heard this, read it, even maybe studied it and still for me it hasnt sunk in?

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

I am not my own, I am not my own.... I can say this and try to get it into my head of understanding but I must be honest and share I do not believe it has penetrated my heart. I feel so compelled to share what God has just revealed to me, in the hopes someone out there will connect and not feel alone. I believe way to often we do feel like we are the only ones and we get "stuck" if you will in it. Why do I float in and out of this?

Could it be because I like to think "I" can manipulate God and tell Him what I think... I am not my own.....

I do not get to tell God what a circumstance should look like, I am not my own.
I do not to get to tell God how people should act, respond, or treat me, I am not my own.
I do not get to tell God I dont think its fair to invest in others for them to turn on you, I am not my own.
I do not get to tell God no more I have had enough, I am not my own.
I do not get to tell God find someone else for the job, I am not my own.
I do not get to tell God I want to protect myself from hurts and being wounded, I am not my own.
I do not get to tell God what I want, when I want it, how I want it, I am not my own.
I do not get to tell God my will be done, I am not my own.

I am not my own, means I am bought with a price. Someone else owns me. I am at His disposal.

The verse is clear, I am the temple that houses the Living God's Holy Spirit. It has been given to me to direct me, guide me, establish me, and work me. I am to glorify God in my bodyand my spirit because they belong to God. Every time I do what I want I rebell against God. I quench the spirit.

My Spirit should resemble He who has taken up residence in me. More times than not I try to get the HOly Spirit to look like me.

I have recently gone through a challenge that had exhausted me and rather than allow God to work in and through me more time than not I got frustrated and felt the need to protect myself. I hate myself for it, cause I know the truth, I know I am not my own, but allowed "SELF" to rule my mind and battle my heart. I went from the spiritual to the physical, I took it personally which is self and did you know, I am not my own. ugggggg

What a sticky web we can get ourselves caught in. For if I stayed in the spiritual I would be obedient, but guilted by others who look through human lenses accusing I dont care or prideful or ignorant to hurting people (even those that weigh you down). Feeling my pain yet? Those looking at it from a spiritual perspective can identify the freedom to be obedient despite the cost.

Or I have falter in the human sphere in disobedience, I now suffer at the hands of those with human lenses say "Oh, look, see she isnt geniune, she isnt loving, she isnt patient, etc" and if they look through the spiritual lense, I'm in the flesh missing my blessings.

We are doomed if we do and doomed if we dont, however the only one the resembles being set free is the one that you hold your head up high with humility and obedience no matter what everyone chooses to see. Going through this battle you actually feel assaulted to the point you move to protect yourself. uggghhhh

I have repented to God and well, if I have seemed frustrated to anyone and appeared to protect "SELF" please forgive me. I have come to find through the revelation of the Holy Spirit that as I have allowed the enemy to wear me down that I have become defensive to anything looking like what has tired me so.

It boils down to the conditions of our hearts, my heart. I love women, people and pray for them I sometimes just like to avoid getting messy stuck in the drama.

Point to Ponder: everyone has an opinion, motive and agenda, everyone struggles with self, most people are dealing with great insecurities that we cannot battle for they are the demons of ones mind and only the Holy Spirit can set them free. All we can do is pray and realize most dont even realize they are in drama. So do not take it in personally because it really has nothing to do with me or you it has everything to do with their surrendering relationship to God. Its ok to step away and give God room. We have enough battles of our own, let us focus on examining ourselves before taking on the war of someone else's mind.

I praise God for the godly sisters HE has put in my life who ALWAYS first love Jesus, truth and righteousness more than me second love me for me without judgment, third for always pointing me to Jesus and the scriptures and praying with me. How freeing is that!!!

So basically, I am not my own. If I choose to live in the spiritual I will rise above untouched by the distractions, however if I choose to live in the human sphere I will be in the mud and allow self to make it personal. Thats where the emotions and feelings reside and I dont want to invite them over for tea, yano what I mean.

The moral of my life lesson is to be obedient to God and know that you know we are not our own. Stay in the spiritual realm that illuminates the love of Jesus.Be prepared: Mt 10:16 ¶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Lord help me to utilize this verse and remember you art with me, and you have my back. We live among the judas of the world.

Let Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness reside with you and the Love of Jesus will pour out of you no matter what.

The best part of learning is that as we stumble and fall at the same things, it should be less and less difficult to get back up and tear it down!!!

Lord thank you for loving me, and providing mature spiritual support you have established for me and the constant teaching that i am not but I know "I am". Thank you for always revealing truth and for allowing me to witness your transformation power!!!! Jesus I adore you, love you and worship you!!!! Praise you for deliverance. Amen

Whats the difference?

>> Tuesday, May 25, 2010

There is no sin which is uncommon to any particular person. In our lifetime we will all have similar experiences through temptations. Yet why does it seem some swim to victory and others sink in defeat?

Lets set the stage: the place= the mind....the main character= self #1 and self#2....the evil counterpart (you know there always is one)= satan himself and the knight in shining armour= Jesus/Holy Spirit.

Ok so the story goes, self #1 is self motivated, self righteous, self centered and wants what they want when they want it not matter how they get it. Self #1 is always telling itself how great it thinks it is, dont need anyone can do it on my own and isnt genuinely concerned for anyone but #1. On a fine sunny day self is minding its own business, when suddenly self is attacked by the evil counterpart and self goes from happy, content, and peaceful to a wicked wrath, jealousy and restlessness. Self is aware of the surroundings changing yet not sure why, in the struggle of trying to figure out what just happened, self is taken down and paralyzed in a state of shock and is defeated. Self is taking care of self the best of self's ability and well quite frankly it just doesnt seem to be working.

This goes on for sometime, self finds self in and out of its feelings and emotions and self notices they change! One minute we are in love the next we hate, one minute we want to give the next we take, one minute we want to spend time, the next we start an argument, one minute we are supportive the next we are tearing them down and the list goes on, and on, and on and on.........
Can you identify with this story just a little bit?

Then we have another self, this is self#2. Self #2 is God centered, God reliant, and God motivated. Self #2 spends alot of time daily in God's Word. Self #2 is humble, examines itself, and is always needing God. On one sunny day Self #2 minding self's business is joyful, content, and peaceful until all of a sudden self #2 is hit and overcome with a hardship of evil. It is ugly and hateful, it is jealousy and insecurity, it hurts and its lonely. Self #2 like self #1 realizes something has changed a battle has taken place and now asks itself what it should do. Rather than trying to figure out the details of what where and why, Self #2 calls out for help to its knight in shinning armour and starts to use the weapons given to tear down the thoughts that have attacked self's mind.

Self #2 has studied and learn to identify the enemy's attacks, lies, deceit and destruction. With the Word of God planted in self's heart and mind from daily attention, self is able to get through the struggle, tired but unharmed from the distraction. Self #2 lifts up grace to the people tied to those emotions and understands we wrestle not with flesh and blood. Self #2 resumes after a time of warring a peaceful mental position in the Holy Spirit.

So what makes one different than the other? My sisters, we all struggle with all the same demons. One more violent than the other. One more sinister than the other. The difference in so many is that one is prepared in the Word of God to use it as a weapon to defeat the enemy. Now this is totally just an analogy through a revelation I have learned in the Lord.

How do we go through life lessons with grace, love and forgiveness? Understand that the God of the universe is over it all! We may not always understand why right away, but know this we must be in our scriptures daily seeking and hungering after God. When are hearts are far from His ways we set ourselves up for a fall.

Let us all repent daily unto the Lord, asking forgiveness for the thoughts we allow. We must remember God is a God of unity in the Body first and foremost. However there are times that we must exercise the safeguards He gives us for discernment if something or someone is being abused. The most important part of what makes us different should be the condition of our hearts. They should be pliable, soft, bendable and conformable to the image and transformation of Jesus. That means no matter what, our hearts should be free from sin and the ugly demons that can distract our minds. The KEY is to tear them down while just an imagination before they settle and take root in our hearts.

The difference is some are in the Word and willing to live out Jesus His way, and well, others are still struggling to get there. Only God knows our hearts, but rest assured they will be revealed. Its good if they are, there is hope for us yet through accountability and discipleship.

Grace for Grace, let us live unto the Lord personally being obedient with what He has called our SELVES to do individually.

So self 1 vs self 2 doesn't make one better than the other, just different. One chooses to disobey the other obey, one chooses to do it God's way the other their way and the list of opposites goes on.

Let us not delay our blessings one more minute move forward and not backwards Jer 7:24 tells us.

There will be times things will seem illogical, just be obedient and leave the consequences to God. Exercise discernment you are not a doormat, but a daughter of the King. Be prepared daughters for the King cometh may you be found with oil in your lamps and may you be adorned for your bridegroom!

In Jesus Love....Walk in Victory!!!!

The Attitude of Rest

>> Sunday, May 2, 2010

Let's be truthful here ~ Being a mom is hard! "Train your children in the way they should go and they will not depart from it". I truly believe this, but the job of training them, even when shared with your husband, is quite challenging. With two boys entering middle school next year and two elementary school-age girls, lately our house has been full of "know-it-alls". This weekend God provided us with a clear snapshot of true training, after whipping us all into shape!

I am reading a book called, I am not, but I know I Am by Lou Giglio and last night's chapter was all about understanding the Sabbath rest. He explains that God didn't order the seventh day to be restful because God himself was weary from creating the universe and everything in it, but to be still and reflect on how great all that He had done was. Keeping the Sabbath holy is actually setting apart the day to take notice of what God has done in our lives during the week leading up to that day. To reflect on, to behold God's power ~ what He did with us, through us, even without us. Doing this will remind us of who God is. Actually practicing this with our families and friends on the Sabbath will honor God with true worship and remind us that God is sovereign, He's real and He works.

My husband and I practiced this tonight at Sunday Linner (lunch/dinner) and it was quite interesting to hear the kids reframe their sentences from "I am thankful that God let US do . . . or let US have . . ." to "I am thankful that God used US to. . . or showed us His power when He . . ." It's all about God, not at all about us or what we've done. Celebrating the Sabbath and keeping it holy is a training of our attitude that should last throughout the week, a shift in perspective. Being grateful for His hand on us and around us. I have heard it said that you can't have a grateful heart and a complaining tongue.

One of my children was having a ton of trouble with murmuring, complaining and backtalking this weekend. His attitude towards the Sabbath rest was a total mess. After trying to correct Him several times, I finally said, "God you've got to help me! I can't get through to him." And then the revelation hit me. "Train him up . . ." Following the list of consequences I reemed out at him, I reached out and held him until he stopped crying and we had a heart-to-heart. You see our sin areas are much the same, as our child argues with his parents, I have been known to fight for my thoughts to be heard as well. What triggers frustration in us is similar, too. God showed me that to truly worship Him on the Sabbath or any day, to truly rest in Him, we've got to have control over the battle in our minds~ between thoughts and feelings, lies and truth.

As part of our children's training, I realized it was important to teach my son this weekend just how to follow God's way of tearing down exalted thoughts that had been controlling his mood with us and towards God. I shared that just like a war has two sides, there are two kinds of thoughts battling one another: The truth planted by God and the lie planted by Satan backed by the persuasion of the world, and they both trigger an emotion. If the emotion we are feeling is provoking us to behave in the opposite manner of the fruits of the Spirit, (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control), then must take captive the thought encouraging such a response. For example, if we feel jealous that someone else was chosen to have a special treat or win the ____ (fill in the blank) we must take captive the thought, "It's not fair" or "they like her better than me". Just like a war prisoner, we must capture the root issue of the thought, measure it against the Word of God. If it doesn't produce good fruit and if it is against the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ then we must cast it out, tear it down. In order to do this right, we've got to battle the lie with truth. For if we simply cast out the lie, we've left an empty space. In our children, we've got to take the time to fill the empty space with something truthful and good or they'll find something else to fill it with, like someone else's opinion.

My son's attitude of resting in God's holiness was restored tonight, not because of the work that I had done but because of the revelation that God brought and the humility practiced by my son. Just one more example of God working in a typical family. Part of our massive job as moms is to correct and edify with Truth. If the hearts and minds of our children are storehouses of Truth, then they will walk with an attitude of rest, resting in the very truth that God works out all things in His sovereign plan through us, with us, and without us. We can rest in the fact that He will accomplish His goals and if we follow His command to train up our children, then we can look forward to watching Him use them as a small piece in His BIG Story. What a great reward!

To Debate or not to Debate that is the Question!?

>> Monday, April 26, 2010

Debating can be fun, it can be challenging, and it can be very destructive! Debating in a controlled environment can prove to be enlightening, on the other hand debating in an uncontrolled setting can be disastrous. Let me explain. When you have two sides debating the scriptures or processing between friends without an audience at least for the majority of the time you leave with possible differences but you can agree to disagree in grace. However, if you have an open forum, inviting multiple individuals in such as on lets just say.... facebook.... we open the doors for the enemy to use it against us.

If we open an opportunity to debate amongst ourselves in front of unbelievers, or those seeking quite honestly it displays a lack of self control and division among the body of Christ. The unbeliever will pick up on the disunity instantly. Why would we pin ourselves against one another on such a forum when the scriptures are clear for us to be like-minded of one accord, unified in the spirit of unity for the bond of peace?

I personally LOVE to debate topics, I truly do! I just personally choose not to on an open forum that would invite the enemy to tear down more than build up. There are many appropriate avenues to express our opinions, however, please remember your opinion is just that and it is not God's.

This debate forum "Tell me what you think" is walking a fine line. Too often we end up opening ourselves up to young Christians, Christians in sin, or non believers and they can get heated and great contention can come through our words which stir up strife. There isn't an, agreeing to disagree. They can become adamant and hostile. Leaving others around them to watch or read their comments to shutter at the thought, "Umm and they are Christians?!"

Please reconsider the mindset that we are challenging them to think about something, we are to exhort and encourage, not stir up strive in our desire to emulate Jesus, right!? Does God provoke us with such questions or statements? NO, he says it is by His goodness men are led to repentance. Living out Grace is amazing!

The truth is: God's word stands alone needing no help. Chewing and digesting the word is a personal time for revelation from the Holy Spirit, not man. Again this being on an open uncontrolled forum, that concerns me. One on one processing the scriptures or asking questions for edifying sake, but the motive to be confrontational or stir up strive is not wise especially when unbelievers are watching and participating.

The Lord gives us these scriptures that may just help us rationalize what we do an how we do it:

Pr 13:10 ¶ Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised [is] wisdom.

Ro 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Ro 16:17 ¶ Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

2Ti 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. Tit 3:9 ¶ But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Romans 12:10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Romans 15:5Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: {according to: or, after the example of}
Romans 15:6That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:7Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
1 Peter 3:15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

they will know us by our love.....

Adversity with Promise!

>> Wednesday, April 21, 2010

Have you ever experienced no matter what you do for the Lord out of obedience, trouble is always right around the corner? Whenever we say yes to God we must say no to something or someone else. This is hard on those around us who have a dependency on us, or whom we have had a dependency on. God is constantly shifting people in and out of lives. Most of us don't understand God's workings until after we have walked through the steps a few times. It creates an array of emotions that could cause destruction for all involved if we are not careful to discern and following God's leading. We are to constantly move forward in our calling looking to Jesus and Jesus alone.

Can we all relate to have been wounded by a passing relationship sometime in our lives? Maybe we have been the one passing by moving forward and to others it would appear we left them behind? Truth Is; Looking back it was all God doing what God does best, orchestrating that all things work together for good to those that love Him. For whatever the cause, it was for our good and their good and we need to accept that even when it hurts. I don't believe that many do it intentionally they are just following God's leading. There is a lesson to learn in this for everyone involved if we are willing.

Jesus says, Follow Me, James and John left their father on the boat in the middle of fishing to follow Jesus, need I say more? When Jesus says, Come, follow me, we better go not worrying about who decides to stay behind. Remember the man that said to Jesus I will follow but first let me bury my father and Jesus said let the dead bury the dead, choose you this day who will you serve?

We are not responsible to accommodate people's feelings only facts we are responsible to obey God.

Some would be led to believe that due to the trouble after saying yes, it wasn't God's will. They might even tell you your to busy and you moved out on your own. Yet on the other hand a true disciple of God knows that once you say yes, you better gird up cause ya know trouble is coming! Amen! We do not want to get in the way of what God tells others to do, so we should just support and pray cause really it ain't any of our business!

So how do we know that we know whether something is of God or not? See if it lines up with scripture and well, only time will tell. Know this, its not only the world that creates opposition but also those the enemy uses in the body of Christ. When we are to be seeking to serve Jesus in our own sphere of influence some are sabotaging His work in and around us. The Lord says, be strong in grace, be able to teach and endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus and lastly a good soldier of Jesus wars, but does not entangle herself with the affairs of this life! Don't get caught in the drama and the mud, sisters focus on Christ. 2Tim 2

Oh, and how do we know, read this with me:

Acts 5:29 (I will paraphrase) Peter says to all ; We ought to obey God rather than man!
v30We are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Spirit, whom God hath given to them that obey him. How do we get power, obedience!

Don't waste your time on what others are doing, be faithful to what you have been called to do!
Refrain from these men, and let them alone; for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nothing.

v39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

Sisters, in the name of Jesus as you walk in faith to accomplish the assignment that the Lord has laid before you, trust that adversity will come in many shapes and forms. Trust this, if God has ordained it to be, your adversity is not against you personally, but against the God that assigned it to you. Blessed are they that are persecuted for His name sake. Matt 5 (However, if you have moved out on your own agenda and gone ahead of the Lord, trust me, He may be reeling you back in. Examine your heart and motives.)

Jealousy and insecurities abound in our society amongst women, because they seek women to fulfil their needs and instead of Jesus. Those who struggle seek to be accepted by women and neglect the acceptance of who they are in Christ Jesus. They for ever hear the truth and never come to the learning of applying it to be over comers of the sin. This makes women very unhappy, and very jealous of those who have exercised their faith to be set free through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is only but GRACE for those of us who have been set free it is because we believe the promises that are given to us through scriptures!

When our work in the Lord is attacked, blamed, accused and persecuted please remember we have one enemy Satan himself and he uses the insecurities and negativity of others as a distraction for us. Remember you cannot fight jealousy, you cannot convince insecurity to be secure all you can do is remind them the power is in Jesus to be free. They are not your enemy, just unfortunately being used unknowingly by him.

Pray for our sisters who are entangled with the affairs of this world, and continue to pray for those who are enduring the hardness faithfully.

The overall purpose is reconciliation and unity that is the heart of God for His children to fellowship together, is it not?

Women need to realize that they have a choice, "to die to live" or "live to die" its up to us individually. Do not let women tear you down because they chose death an rather live as a victim to circumstances rather than raise up victorious. Anything that stands in your way avoid it, if God wants to get your attention if you are abiding in Him the Holy Spirit will convict you and direct your steps. It is He that establishes our thoughts, put the works in our hands, and lights our path. He will speak to you directly. Live out Grace, trust in Him, and obey despite the cost!

Trust in God alone an not man (woman).

He is Able~

>> Monday, April 19, 2010

Life may seem illogical, unexplainable, even challenging but know that God is able. In all of our best efforts in our own strength we fail, however thru the power of God now we are talking. It is the Holy Spirit that enables us pours out His grace to fulfil our purpose in this life.

Did you ever wonder how you got where you are at? You started off in one direction took a u'ee and now you are somewhere completely different. Do you ever wonder where you should be and if you are living life with purpose?

Please know that God has saved us with a holy calling and purpose now all we have to do is believe it. Be persuaded that He is able. The question is are we willling? Paul says, I know who I believed and I am persuaded. How about us? What do we believe and does it persaude us?

I believe alot of us are held back because of fear. Fear is of the enemy and it paralizes us in our tracks. But can we believe this, v7 For God is not given us the spirit of fear, so if fear overcomes us we must identify it immediately as from the enemy and tear it down because we have been given the spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Do we believe this? Are we persauded that this is for us or do we think, Umm this is just for those who are really close to God it couldnt possibly mean me also.

V13 Hold fast the form of sound words which thou hast heard in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. Believe the words written in the scriptures, believe them with faith and love for Jesus and allow yourself to be fully persuaded that they are for you.

Be not ashamed, you have been given the spirit of power, love and sound mind. Trust and obey, live out your destiny according to God's plan. You will naturally be drawn to your path of life by allowing the Grace of God to cover you, motivate you and guide you. If you know it and believe now committ it unto him, He will take care of it.

2 Tim 1:Be not ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 12b nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I believed, and I am persuaded that HE IS ABLE to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Today I celebrate 19 years with the Lord!

I am so grateful that I can celebrate 19 years walking with the Lord. I love the Lord Jesus, He is my all in all. In Him I move, He is my strength, He is my JOY, He is the love of my life! I cannot live without my Lord Jesus. I have been saved nearly half of my lifetime, and I feel like life is just starting!! March 11, 1991 was a dramatic and drastic turn around in my life! Had God not scooped me up, I would not have the godly husband or children I have today. I scarce can take it in what life could have been had it not been for the saving grace of Jesus Christ in my life! Life hasnt always been easy, but Jesus has never left my side.

Today as I celebrate 19 years with Jesus, I praise and bless Him for His faithfulness and grace to me. How long suffering our God is, He is beyond great. May my life be a sacrifice, a light that shines, a testimony of His greatness and power to transform a wretch like me!

Lord Jesus, I thank you for loving me and never giving up on me! Thank you Lord Jesus for helping me to see that I needed to empty myself of me and allow you to fill me with your Holy Spirit.

Thank you Lord Jesus for my husband who will be saved March 18th for 19 years as well and we have been together since March 21st, 1991 and since then you have blessed us with four precious God given gifts.

I am forever yours, eternally grateful, and everlastingly joyful!

How are we to walk?

>> Saturday, March 6, 2010

Funny title? It is when we think of the physical, however what about the spiritual?

Eph 4:1 says that we are to walk worthy of the calling with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in LOVE :). The following verses encourage you for the work of the ministry, know what you believe and why because there are men that will deceive you. No matter what speak the truth in love.

In 4:17 Paul tells that we should not walk as the other Gentiles in the vanity of their minds. If we have been taught of Christ we will put off those things. The rest of this chapter talks about those being alienated from the life of God through their own ignorance, being past feeling and given themselves over to sin. Paul says, put off this old man and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new man which is after God created in righteousness and true holiness. Speak truth, give not place to the devil, let your speech be edifying and minister grace to your hearers and grieve not the holy spirit of God.

Let us walk in love, being kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God for Christs sake has forgiven us.

When we walk out love, it supernaturally illuminates the Lordship of Jesus in us. It reveals that there is a God and He does transform lives! Left to ourselves we tend to do the opposite and walk like the Gentiles in the vanity of our minds. Praise God for the work of the Holy Spirit in us and the scriptures that lead us into everlasting truth.

let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth 1 john 3:18

grace be unto you, mercy, peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love 2 john 1:3

No matter what is set before us, no matter what cause we feel the need to join, if we are led by the Spirit it will be in love with the truth behind it!

Boot Camp for Christians

>> Tuesday, March 2, 2010

This week seems to be awareness of the sign of the times. If we as a nation recruit, equip, and train our military with a "Boot Camp" a crash course on survival skills and how to properly defend and take over the enemy, how much more should we as Christians prepare for the spiritual battle? What would or should a boot camp for those going into battle look like? This is totally my personal opinion but it starts in the Word of God.

We need to be girded up and prepared. We need our full amour on and equipped with understanding how our enemy thinks. It is important to be two steps ahead! We must trust that God goes before us when He calls us to move out. Here is what I believe God has told me. We must study what we know, and know it well. The enemy will counterfeit and build lies into what we already know. We must be able to detect deception immediately. We must know what it smells like, looks like, an feels like with our eyes close.

Pray, pray, and pray more. Pray for wisdom, discernment, revelation from God and the Spirit of Truth to teach you in all things. (Eph1)

Like the military in boot camp we need to get in shape to train for the assignment ahead of us.

Sign Ups for Christian boot camp is now. We must learn how to defend the faith, deliver those in trouble, care for the wounded, and rehabilitate to a healthy state. But how, how do we learn these essentials?

In the Word of God! As we study and train in the Word we will develop all the necessary elements for battle. Like for starters, we will learn LOVE- living .out. virtue. eternally. We have HOPE having. opportunities. promoting. ELOHEIM. We will learn that we have promises, that in obedience brings blessings and forgiveness releases you first and foremost along with your offender. We would learn we wrestle not with flesh and blood so understanding we have one enemy narrows down what or who we are looking for.

The training is strenuous, its hard on the body and it can be a mental challenge. However it will be for each individual we must move forward. Let us keep in mind this; it has everlasting consequences and rewards.

Let us all be serious about the assignment that lays ahead of us, let us gird up and prepare no less than our military prepares for physical battle, as we are in a spiritual one. Let us take our freedom and life seriously. It begins today with a decision what are we willing to personally invest?

I am not ashamed...

>> Monday, March 1, 2010

In today's era of so many distractions of the faith, My Lord has brought this conclusion to me:
As for me and my house we will serve our Lord Jesus, that we will seek those things which are above and not of this earth. Did you know it wasn't our job to "save" the world and its problems? Don't get me wrong we can certainly add to the list and also take away but our main goal should be something entirely different according to the scriptures. These things must come to pass (Matt 24) remember we live in time God is in eternity.

We are to proclaim the gospel, invest in others to raise up disciples and be a living sacrifice to live out the power of the Lord Jesus so the world "see"s witnesses that He is real. It was Jesus' job to save the Lost, the Father's job to draw all men unto himself we are just to be the ambassadors that deliver a message that has nothing to do with us. We do nothing but obey, the Holy Spirit awakens a man to understand He is in need of a savior. So lets just be faithful to the Word of God! Mark 16:20

When we have men coming up with "new" ideas, "new" plans to attract the unsaved or the wounded we are saying that the simplicity of the GOSPEL is no longer affective, are we not? In fact, Paul says I speak not with the wisdom of men's words but in POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT. (1Cor2:4-5) and that our faith should NOT stand in the wisdom of men but in the POWER OF GOD.

If, I would contend for the truth according to Paul, (and I am) and suggesting if we aren't seeing results, I would reckon something is missing alright, but it isn't a new plan or idea. Its the Power of the Holy Spirit and men moving out to do men things and not God things. Love is missing, the authority of Jesus Christ is missing and the Power of His resurrection is missing.
Who am I, I am NO ONE but the Lord of all the Earth cares to know MY name, would care to feel my hurts, it is He that lights the way from our ever wandering heart as the song goes. He cares to know our names does He not care about the plan?

We ALL need to STOP "thinking" and start "studying" the scriptures, all of it. ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God (it belongs to God He wrote it, we should know it and dare not add or take away from it!) it is for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction for righteousness.
If we do not believe it, study it, take it in its entirety and use it for righteousness (what is right vs what is wrong) We have missed the boat! He says He gave it to us that we would be finished perfectly for His good works in us. He gave us Absolute Truth, as a matter of fact he wrote on our hearts to know that there is a God 1. and between good and evil was revealed in the garden.2. It is to encourage us to Preach the Word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine because....because..... because....

BECAUSE! the time will come when they will not, they will NOT, they WILL NOT, THEY WILL NOT endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears and shall turn away their ears from the TRUTH and shall be turned unto fables. So watch in ALL things, endure afflictions, do the work of an EVANGELIST, make FULL proof of the ministry. (this verse has been striped of is authority and there are men preaching stories that Jesus was a fable and He doesn't have authority, He was just a prophet, they teach from the gospels and leave out the most important part for the church and that is the epistles that clearly show the troubles of the church an how to handle them. How to live out the Spirit filled life in Christ Jesus with grace, mercy, peace, and love for the Savior.

It doesn't give suggestions to come up with new plans and ideas to recreate the wheel of the gospel to attract or even to attempt to heal the broken  hearted or those wounded by the church any other way than to cast your eyes on Jesus not on man because man WILL fail you. We need to stop suggesting people get connected with programs an outreaches until they have been connected with the Lord Jesus and He will direct their steps from there. The answer is JESUS, not, let's have pity parties that tear down Jesus and the people because we have been wounded. We lack great understanding and wisdom and should not trust men to teach it to us but seek the Savior in prayer and scriptures.

Prayer is a communication of the heart to God. Us lifting up praises and concerns to our Daddy and asking for His will to be done and giving us grace to accept what He as in store. But be specific and ask with faith, Jesus did in the garden.

Ps. the holy scriptures are able to make thee wise unto salvation THROUGH the Faith which is in CHRIST JESUS.
My cry and plea to our sisters is this: SEEK JESUS, HIDE IN JESUS, GET INTO THE WORD AND KNOW HIM. He will fulfil, heal, deliver and love on you. Careful little eyes what you see, careful little ears what you hear for the Father up above is looking down in love careful what you take in.
Take life seriously, there will be plenty of time for pleasure in eternity with Jesus. Now is the time to be aware and on guard in love.

2Timothy 1:12-14 For which cause also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that HE is ABLE to keep that which I have committed unto HIM against that day. Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 10:11 For the scripture says: Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Absolute Truth to be or not to be?

>> Sunday, February 28, 2010

I'm not quite sure why some have a problem with absolute truth. I am going to just process my own thoughts in hopes of accomplishing.....well nothing, other than I need to!? How do we express we have no absolutes? So let me get this straight. There are no absolute truths in the beliefs of many, right? Are you absolutely sure of that? Ummm.... exactly, are you following me.

How about this, is this absolute truth or not? If I jump off a 20 story building I will fall to the ground? - Yes gravity is an absolute truth.

Or if I had to do a math problem is it absolute true that 5+5=10? huh really that is truth?

O.k. lets go one step further, shall we... If there is no truth or absolute truth what holds the "thinking and conscience state of mankind together?" There would be total chaos, no right or wrong. Lieing is morally correct? Hey committing adultery is o.k with you? Well lets face it if someone doesn't believe in absolute truth, we tend to be moved but what "we" think is o.k. Quite frankly the truth is, I don't agree with this logic or sense of perception.

So you deposit $500 in your bank account, you call the bank for a balance check they tell you your balance is $0. You're upset, because you know you deposited money, but since there is no absolute truth, the teller doesn't agree with your logic in depositing money and therefore has emptied your bank account because there are no absolute boundaries to stop her.

Where is the accountability? Why do we have laws, courthouses, judges, jails, and the American Flag?

If you are caught driving over the speed limit by 25 miles, is it not truth you are very likely to suffer consequences? If you are caught stealing a 45" T.V. from the department store are there consequences? How about this one! If you run your car into a tree traveling 150 miles will you eventually crash? If you hold your breath under water and you are chained to the bottom will you run out of air and drown in oh, lets just say on the long side, 15 minutes?

Wow, and I didn't even bring God into this. I really wonder about this post modern society and their tolerance for irrational thinking. What spirit do you suppose this came from? But since I brought it up now, for someone to say there is no God, they would have to be all knowing, right? Since we are limited in our thinking, we can't rightfully say something unless we have evidence and can prove it.

I will testify that I love absolute truth! I love that God has given us absolutes and the fact there is truth is comforting to me. I have a personal relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. He is not only truth but the very essence of TRUTH.

I hope I proved my point out loud. I am sure you didn't need convincing and appreciate you processing this with me.

You can believe this.Take it to the bank, invest it and watch your divine return bless your little heart! Jesus Christ is Lord, He is the final authority! It is He that says "do not hate your brother less you commit murder in your heart. Do not lie against one another, Do not steal." Jesus came to live out the gospel for us to share. The death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ was and are the absolute truths for the complete gospel of our Lord.

As Bible believing, Lord saving, grace abounding Christians, how do we tolerate lies? The truth is what is absolutely necessary to uphold it. I leave us with that to ponder.......

FEAR OR NOT TO FEAR THAT IS THE QUESTION!

>> Sunday, February 21, 2010

Fear strikes all of us from time to time. There is good healthy fear and then bad unhealthy fear.

Good fear is something that keeps us in a reverence for things. We know if we touch a hot burner we will get a bad burn. We know if we misuse electricity we will get shocked. I have an electric fence which gives my horse boundaries, everytime I try to climb through it I fear being shocked! I fear if I am out of God's will by disobedience that consequences will follow. These are all good fears that keep us in check with what is going on around us and what we do will have an affect on ourselves and/or with someone else. Healthy fear sets boundaries it creates respect. Good Fear helps us to analize and receive truth. Good fear helps us from moving backwards. Yes think about that, when we disobey it is always a setback! I touch that hot burner, my damaged hand is a set back, if I cross boundaries that God has set the consequences set me back. Good fear motivates my obedience!

Conviction to do right is a still small voice nudging or knocking on our hearts to do right or to go back and make it right. It gently brings us to reconciliation, it hurts but is freeing to move forward in forgiveness and openness about our mistakes.

Bad fear unhealthy fear paralizes us. Bad fear TORMENTS US, it creates mountains out of mole hills. Bad fear causes us to see things, hear things and feel things that are not truth. Bad fear keeps us from moving forward. I can fear people, places, circumstances, confrontation. I can fear the unknown. I can fear false ideas that play out in my head. I can fear that I am not liked, or unaccepted in social circles. I can fear my husband doesnt really love me or my children hate me because I'm a horrible mother. I can fear..... and the list is endless. In the mind battle of fear we literally paralize ourselves from being productive we must face our fears. It brings up our past and accuses us of our faults. In Christ we are forgiven and our sins are thrown behind the back of God. We must face that this fear of the what ifs, the unknowns, the monsters in our closets are from Satan himself!!!!!! He desires to sift us like wheat to place us in bondage from being free to live the abundant life. If, holds us back. No matter what we have done, not matter what, when we have confessed and repented we are restored immediately. Do NOT let the accuser of the brethren keep you in the past that you are freed from, move forward in liberty because of Jesus!

How about the fear that you cant move forward because you are so comfortable with being miserable and controlled by fear that to be freed seems more illogical than you being in bondage! It is ok to forgive yourself and enjoy life! There is nothing, nothing that you are not forgiven from. You and you alone is the only one that can set yourself FREE! Dont feel guilty about that, just do it and enjoy the freedom of forgiveness. Forgive yourself!

1John 4:8 perfect love casts out fear because fear has torment, he that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Guilt is condemning it gnaws on you like a tiger on a bone. It is overwhelming it suffocates us, it paralizes us, it moves us into an isolate place of imprisonment that WE shut ourselves into! Guilt moves US to PLACE ourselves in bondage and a belief that we are so bad, undeserving, unforgiveable and inexcusable! Guilt is a LIE from the ENEMY who desires to destroy the JESUS in you!

F.E.A.R.= False evidence appearing real. False evidence appearing real.

The enemy is out to destroy us and he loves to create false lies and circumstances to distract us from living and enjoying God. What if all of our fears where real? Think about that. What if all and even our worse were real? It doesn't change who we are. What changes is the reality that its out of our control. We can only control what we think and say and for that matter do. We must take the fears of the enemy and eliminate them one by one. Take captive EVERY thought into the obedience of Christ.

Today what is consuming your thoughts, paralyzing your spirit and holding you back from living!

Today so many women are not living to die they are dieing to live!!!! Women want to be set free to live life in liberty!!!!

First step: What are the thoughts that consume you? Acknowledge it, Identify it!

KJV Ps 64:9-67:7-Prov 2:5 Eph 5:21- 1 Tm 1:7 Luke 22:31 Rev 12:10 2Cor 10:5 Jer 7:24
