Is Grace frustrating?

>> Friday, July 13, 2012

Its been really hard to get Internet, so the Morning Word will need to be on sabbatical till September. It may be sporadic at times but will definitely be in full swing in September.
I leave you with this...Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Finding Grace is a journey for most of us who have been brought up by the law. It is an unlearning process, and undoing, and it takes time to flush it all out of our systems.
One can say give God control, get out of God's way, we must learn to let God...but for many...the concept is inconceivable. Life as they know it, is them making things happen, and
trying to fix or figure it all out. Giving up control is not giving up, nor is it lazy. World view of what God asks of us is looked upon as weak or foolish.
the Biblical view of God's grace is allowing Him to supernaturally do in and through us what we couldn't do on our own. Simply put, the next time we feel incomplete, unaccepted, or incapable of moving forward...its a good time to start putting Grace in Place...
We are complete in Him...
We are accepted in the Beloved
He is ABLE
When we abandon ourselves and start to retrain the way we think, what we say, how we "feel"...according to the scriptures we will come to find it "WORKS."
No doubt abandoning our personal preconceived notions, perceptions, worldly wisdom and understanding is hard...how can we let go of all we thought we "knew" was right...only to find out it was all wrong?!!!! this is where we frustrate grace...trying to hold onto the "I's."
It truly is a rebirth...a death to self and all we once knew...and a birth to new concepts...illogical....upside down...backwards then what we have lived out in the past.
Today is a good day to start embracing Grace! Grace is obtained through Jesus Christ...the Father...and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Think you would like to add some grace in your day?!! :) Ask God to reveal the truth to you...He will...you will start to see and identify through conviction in your spirit by "the" Spirit of where change is needed.
The worst thing you can say to someone who doesn't understand Grace is...You don't understand Grace or you aren't giving Grace...that is not Grace! People like to use a power trip as if they understand it themselves and obviously trying to point it out to someone is not what God is talking about. It frustrates them more. If someone says that to you and doesn't invest in your life to walk it out with you...walk away! Learning to live out Grace takes love and being intentional to really seek God and His Word...ask Him to reveal the truth to you and look for others that seem to have found it to love you through your journey of embracing it as well!
The Scriptures continue in Chapter 3 by saying why have you not obeyed the truth...for many of us...maybe we didn't have ears to hear, or our understanding was dull...we hadn't had that light bulb moment...don't get discouraged...seek Jesus more...He is faithful and has not set us up to fail. We must not rely on our own understanding...but in all our ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct our paths, Amen!
Be encouraged, no matter how ungraced we are...God has ways to transform us that we couldn't even dream up! Let go of YOU...really...LET GO of it all! Raise your hands in Praise to God with your palms wide open, tell Him you hold onto nothing of your past and from this day forward only want to receive fresh revelations of His truth and Grace! Tell Him you desire to walk out Grace to glorify His name and bless others. God is ABLE...we just have to be ready to lay down our rights...be totally abandoned...that living sacrifice...so He may have His way in us!
WALK IT OUT STEP BY STEP! CHANGE CAN TAKE TIME...DON'T GET DISCOURAGED...YOU WALKED IN THE LAW FOR HOW MANY YEARS??!! IT MAY TAKE SOME TIME TO UNLEARN OUR BAD HABITS OF THE FLESH, CRUCIFY THOSE WORKS, AND START TO WITNESS THE POWER OF GOD TRULY WORKING IN AND THROUGH YOU!!
May we all get our mind and our heart on the same page...BELIEVE means to be fully persuaded...may we ask ourselves, "What do we truly believe?" Grace is more than unmerited favored... Grace is allowing God to supernaturally do that which we could not in and through us! I say supernaturally, because we all know how we can accomplish much naturally in our flesh...but what God does supernaturally lasts with power!
All this to say, there is FREEDOM IN GOD'S GRACE!! There is a new mindset that we can have it truly believes we are no longer under condemnation, that we can be fully confident in who we are in Christ, that we can love others dangerously, because He first loved us. Grace gives margin for error! We ALL walk in error, we are ever changing being conformed and transformed more into His image. But God doesn't see us like that, there are no errors in Jesus nor failures, but God working all things together for our good to those who are called and who love God. This same grace given to us...we must first learn how to receive it...then give it to others. If we spent just 1/2 the time we spend pointing our everyone Else's issues on examining ourselves...What a wonderful world this would be!!!
Today is a new day, immerse yourself in God's promises and know your position in Christ....BELIEVE THEM...and watch your life be TRANSFORMED BY HIS GRACE!
YOU ARE POSITIONED BY GOD AND HIGHLY FAVORED!! BE BLESSED AND BLESS GOD WITH YOUR SELF! EMBRACE GRACE AND WATCH THE LIVING WORD COME ALIVE IN YOUR LIFE!!!
With much love for the Brethren!
